Fantastic location Pleasant staff Great restaurant Needs renovations but very old Bali feel. Needs new gym, otherwise central to all shopping, massages and restaurants.

A Resort with plenty to offer

Pros: I liked the location and having my own private kitchen was a nice surprise.
Cons: There was no information in the room about the spa services, the resort itself or any tour information (though there was plenty at the front office).
Location: Right on the beach and main road, easy to access a number of other restaurants, bars and tour offerings.
I enjoyed a two day break here while touring this part of the coast. While the place is showing its age, it has plenty to offer with good sized rooms full of amenities from cable TV to fully equipped kitchens. The balcony had seaviews and cool breezes and also overlooked the huge pool area. The restaurant served good meals for a good price with friendly staff.

Pros: Water view beautiful, great restaurant, bar and pool
Cons: Bathroom smelt, small vanity, shower disgusting with a massage maching in it that did not work taking up most of the shower, not healthy, tiles filthy
Location: scenic
Facilities: Everyday; Value: Affordable; Service: Inoffensive; stairs to room and patio to door filthy with smelly waterway behind, front of beach rubbish in ocean, even a pair of underpants, rooms need revamping

Pros: The best thing about our stay at the Bali Palms was the friendly staff, great big swimming pool.
Cons: Worst thing was the work going on at the place was a little noisy

Facilities: Nice ; Value: Bargain; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Pleasant; The restuarant at the hotel was excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner. All meals we had were awesome. 5 star.

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
