Great room, facilities and very comfortable. It would have been helpful to have a better view of housekeeping times, as housekeeping didn't come until 18.00. The free breakfast was very good and regularly refreshed and cleaned.

recently reopened after a very half hearted refurbishment and expected a better quality and standard, much better options in Manchester for the price, breakfast area was inadequate for the number of guests, no tables available either day, front desk really unhelpful and untruthful regarding a request for just one hour late checkout, claimed to be full the following night (Sunday) yet 10 rooms showing available on the app, now i fully understand that we have no entitlement to a late check out even for an hour but I prefer not to be lied to as this shows a contempt for customers and sets a bad example when management instruct staff to lie for them and to be fair to the staff they seemed very uncomfortable doing so and were very unconvincing. we wont be back

Workspace was busy, it wasn't as easy to find some of the breakfast items the way the food was laid out. Saff was helpful. Studio Bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

Hit and miss. Pros friendly staff, very clean compared to other brands. Cons- construction all over the hotel. Had a digger right outside my window doing work early morning. Good breakfast however I recommend changing the times to end at 10am to avoid being so busy. Coffee machine right in between the small area buffet. With one coffee machine not working just caused longer wait times. Could move those machines to one side so people can get their breakfast in ease.

Breakfast is very good. Spaces room, staff shortage but are all very friendly only problem is the long and wanding approach from the train station especially after dark. Suggest to provide some simple maps with clear route highlight. Finally lifts should only be operative with key activation for security reason.

For the most part it was a very comfortable and wonderful stay here! Appeared very clean. amenities included mini fridge/freezer, blackout curtains, luxurious bedding, decent air conditioning and heating. toiletries provided. excellent location, minimal noise. A few things i was dissatisfied with; The breakfast i felt was a bit lacklustre when it came to vegetarian options.. The towel rack in the bathroom was faulty was unable to get the induction hob to work so we had to use the microwave for cooking. staff were friendly and helpful

The pictures on the Expedia site are not a good representation of what this hotel actually looks like. In reality, it feels more like a cheap motel-style accommodation. There was also a big construction project next to the hotel causing a lot of noise. During my 4-night stay, the loud alarm went off three times—one of them at 3 a.m for no reason. It was horrible dealing with that kind of noise. Definitely won’t stay there again.

Ideal location and the comfiest King Size bed ever

Location is ideal not far from Piccadilly station. It's just a short walk to Chinatown or the main shopping area. There is a lot of building work in the area though. Great customer service at check in. Room size for King Suite was spot on. Room was a little jaded in areas though. King size bed was so comfortable and added to a good night's restful sleep. Bathroom had both bath and overhead shower, only letdown was no seal on the glass partition door over the bath, which we failed to notice until getting out and seeing a very wet floor! For those wanting to cook, there are only 2 pans, was disappointed there was no frying pan to use. Also if cooking please follow the necessary instructions as whilst we there the fire alarm in other rooms went off twice. Not good at 3.45 am! WiFi was extremely slow and TV kept lagging and cutting out in both the sitting room area and bedroom. Adequate choice of food for breakfast, but really difficult to get round the serving area when crowded and busy. There were no covers over the hot food so some of this was extremely dried up when we arrived. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay.
