I did not appreciate being lied to by management about the broken air-conditioning. I specifically booked a hotel with air-conditioning and after i was booked in i discovered it wasn't working so i reported it to management and was told they were waiting for a part to come in. Also they admitted at fault for not telling me prior. When i complained to a staff member, he told me the air-conditioning had been broken for over a year and heaps of people had left and or cancelled their bookings because of this and Management just haven't bothered to fix it. Bloody disgraceful and disgusting to lie to my face about this. I cancelled my last week and booked somewhere else.

Room was nicely decorated (despite some peeling wallpaper) and the building is nice but bed and pillows uncomfortable (quilt was wafer thin as well) and I saw two receptionists both were completely uninterested. Also my key card didn’t work and they said they’d call maintenance, I asked for a different card and was told quite firmly NO 😂

Room air conditioning was broken in middle of June when needed, was given a replacement fan. Lift was also broken, not an issue for me as on first floor. Only stayed for the location as within walking distance of transport.

Arrived for 3pm and was made to wait until 3:30 as rooms not ready. Room was like a sauna. Towels were ripped and scatty. Lift was not working but the only room available at 3:30 was on 4th floor. The lift was not working the duration of the trip. Was not offered late check out even after check in was late. Awful experience.

Really great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and just what we needed for our night in Manchester. Bed was soo comfy and room had a fan which was great cause it was hot!!! Only criticism is the restaurant weren’t sure about gluten free options and were able to offer my friend a breakfast whilst being 100% on the allergens so we had to find somewhere else to eat as it was too risky.

Large, clean room. Decor was fun and quirky. Large room and bathroom. Right in middle of Manchester. Close to all public transport, shopping and dinning. Public carpark very close by with discount provided by hotel.

Loved the location and the space. Our room was very spacious with great decor and lots of natural light. I just would've preferred a way to control the temperature of the room, as it was very chilly and the radiators didn't seem to work and the heat pump was very high up and didn't have a remote control.
