Got the room for a good rate - had I paid full price I would have raised a complaint - it's an old building it's noisy and the radiator in the room wasnt working so it got chilly overnight - only there one night so didn't see the use in complaining

Honest review of our stay at the Abode Manchester.

The room was very cold. No heating on, contacted reception they put heating on 1st time. 2nd evening they found a portable heater and bought to us. Very noisy throughout the night as no double glazing. Our bed was not made and bins not emptied sunday but lady did knock in eve to ask if we required more towels. Restaurant closed on sunday due to no chef!. The staff were polite and well presented. We wanted to go with an alternative to a premiere etc but things need to be updated to keep clients co.ing to this hotel.

We got some very confusing information at check-in about breakfast, and in our room most of the blinds were broken, but otherwise a very comfortable stay with efficient staff.

The hotel was lovely. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable although the mattresses were not the best quality. They were very soft and flimsy. However ok for one night. But worst thing about the room was the heat . It was extremely warm with no way of turning heat down as we did ask . Also none of the three windows opened to allow any air in . We both found it difficult to sleep . So it did spoil the stay a bit . But again it was a lovely hotel in a great location of the city .

Service was unnecessarily a let down

Great menu options. You’re given menu & items made to order- limitless, I believe - great value & quality. However, service was major let down. Food took 20-35min to come. Part of my order was not as I requested but was sent back to fix. One of my orders (a selection of crossaints) never came. I asked about this, assuming it was forgotten but happy to take it in a napkin. But was told the kitchen was closed, as if I had forgotten to mention this in my original order. I politely explained I had originally ordered this & no resolution/accommodation was offered. Given, I was already late for check out bcus of how surprisingly long food had taken - I left it. I’d factor 1hr+ for breakfast & overcommunicate your desires :/

Initially given a room which had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, but pleased to say we were able to be moved to a nicer room once we informed staff of the problem. Breakfast was very nice.
