Solomon’s is a bar which does nice cocktails. They sometimes have live music/ fun pub quizzes.
Fuel is a bohemian restaurant and bar. They only serve vegetarian food but it is really delicious and the portions are more than generous. Great beer and a laid back ambiance is what you will find at Fuel.
Pasha is a fantastic middle eastern restaurant which is about a 5-minute walk from the flat. The food and service are impeccable – I would recommend just getting a load of hot/cold mezze to share. They restaurant is BYOB too so make sure you grab a bottle of wine or some beers on the way.
A little bit further away (about a 15 minute walk) you will find the leafy suburb of West Didsbury. Burton road is the central hub of this neighbourhood, and here you will find some lovely up market shops, bars and restaurants. A few to look out for are:
If you come out of the front of the property and walk through the garden and take a right- this will take you to Withington High Street. On your right you will find the bus stop. If you want to head into town you can take the 142, 143, 42 buses.
There is also a Tram Stop on Burton Road which will take you into town in about 20 minutes. You are looking for the tram that goes to Rochdale Town Centre. Get off at St. Peters Square.
