Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was huge and very clean. The building was on the older side and the parking was slim, but overall a nice place to stay. It was easy to walk to dinner during snow storms!

Friendly staff, probably the busiest I have seen the hotel during this visit which is not surprising considering the great snow from the recent storms. Unfortunately the renovations are still slowly progressing, which meant no pool or hot tub access, really wish they were able to finish that by now. The steam room and sauna were available however the sauna did not seem to be working properly. The steam room worked well after letting it warm up for about 20 minutes. Overall another nice visit and still one of my favorite places to stay for short snowboard trips. Great value for the price and close proximity to the mountain.

This hotel is very run down, and gets more run down every year. The breakfast room is a mess, the food isn’t refilled so it is almost out of everything 1 hour before breakfast is over, and they now stop hot breakfast at 8:30, which is crazy. For $300/ night this is one of the worst deals I have ever seen in a hotel.

The rooms and property haven’t been updated or even looked after in years. The pool is “being redone” for two years now. Restroom ceiling has mold and paint is coming off. Only reason to stay here is that there is no other similar alternative and that’s probably why they don’t care about maintenance
