Relaxing, welcoming and accommodating

Relaxing and wonderful stay. This was our second time at the Aurora. We were very comfortable. It was fun for our young child as well as my parents. We enjoyed the beach, pool, spa, restaurants and entertainment. The front desk team was very accommodating and kind. They provided accommodations for my mother with mobility challenges. She was able to enjoy a day at the beach and swimming. We hope to be back again.

Beach lounge chairs are for rent and not included in the high price already paid! Beach towels are also exchanged for a price. Less fruit options at breakfast, for example, bananas and peaches, seasonal fruit are not available this year. The price of the hotel is up but the offer is down. Sad. Any other place in the world has these things included in the hotel price.

Everything was great. I would have liked to see some smoked fish, mackarel at breakfast. Also, dissapointed that the beach lounge chairs were not free for the hotel guests as they are anywhere else in the world. I am very impressed with your staff. They were very helpful. This hotel is situated at the sensational site among pine trees, looking towards the most beautiful sunset. The see is cristal clear. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable. Everything is clean. The food is local and of high quality. The best of all are people - they are very comitted, competent and nice. Many thanks to all.

Two night stay at Aurora Hotel

Sea view rooms, below the 3rd floor are totally blocked by trees. In order to reaget a water view you need to be up on the 4th floor and pay the premium level. We found it very noisy with the terrace door open, people pullng the metal window shades up and down at 6:30am. Room was decent size, very clean. Buffet breakfast was quite good, lots of selections but very crowded.

We had to ask to be able to lower the temperature on our AC in the room which seems odd but in most of Europe it seems to be regulated but the hotel and not the guests which is a bit aggregating per se! Otherwise very nice !

Overall the experience was decent. Highlights about the hotel would definitely be the breakfast and the beach being so close. Restaurants around the area served good food and coffee and overall they're budget friendly. Some issues that I would like to point out would be dinner service. Other than the price being 23€ per person, that doesnt include drink service, other than the limited amount of juice on display. You can of course buy drinks but the price was quite high with a 5% service charge being tacked on with it. Spent 8.40€ for 2 apple juices for example. Compared to breakfast I must say this was a total dissapointment in my eyes. Another issue I would like to note, hopefully this was only my experience, but my girlfriend and I both contracted food poisoning from what we believe were the sandwiches in the to-go lunch boxes that we received upon departure from the hotel. Lukcily no big issue as we both recovered within 3 days, and of course, no hospital visit. Beds were okay overall. They kept sliding around when we moved a little in our sleep. Had to use my suitcase to wedge one side to prevent movement. The walk to the beach is quite close, but coming back is definitely a small workout if youre unprepared, as there is lots of stair climbing. Most shops are away from the area of the island and would require either a car or long walk to town to get to. To close this out, the overall experience was decent with some highs, lows, and some in between.

Vi fick ett bra och stort dubbelrum med balkong. AC’n var trött den kunde aldrig går under 21-22°C. Frukost var bra. Kvällsmaten var ok, men vid rusningstiden gick det knappt att prata i matsalen, om man inte har chansen att knäppa en av de få uteplatserna. Liten vik precis nedanför, men stranden är stenig, ta med ”sjöskor” om ni har. Ta också med sim- eller dykglasögon, det finns gott om fiskar nära stranden. Promenaden runt halvöarna norrut är väldigt fina. Cykeluthyrning fanns vid viken med. Hela ön är mycket upp och ner, det är tufft med normalcykel.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren oft in der Gegend in den anderen Hotels dieser Kette und immer sehr zufrieden (Vespera, Punta). Hierbei handelt es sich um ein sauberes Hotel in bester Lage mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitms Personal, gutem Essen. Was uns gleich bei der Anreise aufgefallen ist: stark gekühlte Räumlichkeiten im Verhältnis zur Außentemperatur (Lobby, Hotelgänge) Trotz beworbenen gratis Parkplätzen kaum Parkmöglichkeit, außer man stellt sein Auto 1km vom Hotel entlang der Straße ab. Oberhalb des Hotels befindet sich ein Parkplatz, der "Für Gäste des Hotels Aurora" beschildert ist und die meiste Zeit fast leer ist - auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption hieß es "ja, das ist unser Privatparkplatz, für €6/Nacht" - ist nicht viel, entspricht jedoch nicht der Hotelbeschreibung

Nettes Hotel. Gutes vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Indoorpool war schön, da es geregnet hat und dieser beheizt war. Zimmer sind geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Wir sind mit Kleinkind gereist. Babybett gab es für 8€ extra pro Tag. In ca. 20min fussmarsch kann man in die Stadt laufen.

Bella struttura in riva al mare, soprattutto per famiglie, con numerosi servizi. Spiagge belle e mare fantastico con tanti pesci che fanno compagnia durante il bagno. Come sempre gli ospiti fanno la differenza e non mancano gli spargitori di asciugamani dalle prime ore dell’alba ad occupare lettini e ombrelloni.

Das Personal im Restaurant langsam, unterbesetzt oder nicht für die Arbeit motiviert. Die benutzte Geschirr wurde längst nicht vom Tisch genommen, die benutzte Esstische wurden nicht für die nächsten Gäste rechtzeitig vorbereitet. Aus diesem Grund wurde beim Abendessen manchmal schwierig eine freie Platz im Restaurant zu finden. Einige von Personal wandern Ziellos über das Restaurant, erscheinend ohne Lust oder Interesse auf Arbeit zu haben. Großes Lob an die Mannschaft aus der Küche für die Vorbereitung sehr leckeren Essens.

Schöne Badebucht unmittelbar beim Hotel. Leider sehr kleines Pool. Die Zimmer schon sehr abgewohnt.
