Our stay at the Grand hotel on New Years eve was great. Our room was very nice and the upgrade very welcome. Thr hotrl was decorated lovely for Christmas and there was a hood atmosphere for New Years eve. The breakfast however was nice a good selection but the cooked breakfast was not warm, eggs were very over cooked and everythong else cool and rubbery.

When we booked this room it was for 3 people on your website. When we arrived hotel told us only booked for 2 at your end which was very disappointing and we had to pay extra for our daughter. Would be very reluctant to use your site again as it was very misleading information.

Excellent stay post Christmas. Just what we needed. Hotel has had a beautiful upgrade. We’ve stayed many times. This was the best. So many options for a coffee to full meals. Nespresso machine in our room. Beautiful areas to sit & relax, read etc. Can't wait to return.

I’ve always loved The Grand and have been staying there for over 20 years. The updated rooms with Dyson hairdryer, Nespresso Coffee machine and large walk-in shower are a lovely addition. The rooms have all had a refreshing makeover. I intend to keep going for another 20 years +.

Rude front desk staff charged me an additional €40 for the room over what I had already paid. Room not as described on website, building work being carried out along the corridor, dust everywhere, constant noise & random fire alarms. Please refund asap.

We have stayed at The Grand on a number of occasions and always enjoyed the ambience - including the friendliness of the staff. However ... We generally book the same type of room - the 'superior' twin or double - but there was no doubt that the space in our room last week was significantly less that that of the room we were allocated in July - so we were slightly disappointed. The room did feel a little cramped - partly because of the extra bed - which we had no need of.
