Very beautiful and clean place, has a 24 hour Shuttle dropping you off at the bus station which is a 5 min walk to the Holy Kaba. Staff is very friendly and will accommodate any requests you make. Will recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott, Makkah. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout my 5-day stay. The services provided were excellent and, considering the price, I found it very good value for money. The only caveat is that the hotel is slightly away from Haram. You do need to take a shuttle, but the hotel provides regular buses every hour, and there are several hotels along the same street offering similar transport. The drop-off point at Haram is very convenient, just a 2-minute walk away. If you prefer walking, it takes around 15–20 minutes to reach the Haram directly from the hotel. Overall, I felt well looked after, enjoyed my stay thoroughly, and would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

The hotel having opened in the last 6 months was modern, airy and clean. The services were of a good standard. It is good to see the staff were all trying as hard as they could to provide a great memory for the guests and on my stay went far beyond what i was expecting. I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting the usual benefits of my Gold Elite status, but unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. Hotel did not honor the perks associated with my loyalty level, including the promised 2pm late check-out. They seemed to have their own set of policies in place that completely ignored the Marriott Bonvoy program’s established benefits, which I find unacceptable for a property using Marriott's name. The room itself was incredibly small, and honestly, didn’t feel like the quality I’ve come to expect from a Marriott-affiliated hotel. Additionally, the Muslim shower didn’t have adequate water pressure, making it difficult to use. While I understand the property is new, there are a number of issues that still need to be addressed—especially with the overall upkeep of the rooms and amenities. The check-in experience was also frustrating, as the staff seemed poorly trained and unprepared to handle basic customer service, especially for loyal Bonvoy members. It was clear that they lacked the necessary knowledge or training to deliver a seamless experience. If this hotel isn’t going to honor the Marriott Bonvoy benefits or properly train their staff, they shouldn’t be using the Marriott name. I won’t be returning until these issues are properly addressed.
