Relaxing Enjoyable

Totally loved our room, gym, swimming pool and the dove soap, shampoo and conditioner was amazing. The cleanibg staff very helpful and polite.The only thing was paying for parking for guests it should be made free. And by the way loved the art work on the wall.

Hotel for Dogs - woof woof

£6.00 charge to stay at a hotel that has already cost over £100 for a one night stay is wrong, But allowing dogs to stay at a hotel is totally wrong and I for one won’t be staying there again, after being woken up at 12.30am by somebody’s pet pooch barking loudly on the landing outside my bedroom door. It then took two hours to get my young daughter back to sleep. When I mentioned this to the receptionist the following morning all she could do was smile and say sorry about that. The only good thing about the stay was the fact that the room was clean (thank goodness it wasn’t full of dog hair and didn’t smell of dog) and the swimming pool facilities.

Lovely staff, room was showing its age and could’ve been cleaned to a higher standard (dust/marks), breakfast was mediocre but fine. Spa and fitness centre were both loverly and modern. Would happily stay again.

Decent hotel

Staff all friendly and polite, very helpful. Restaurant is ok but expensive. Breakfast is rather limited but nice enough. It was July so very hot, there is no air conditioning (which is clearly advertised to be fair) which was a bit uncomfortable but they had provided a large fan and the room was ready with the window open for me making it as comfortable as it could be. Room was clean enough and fine for my requirements as it was literally just sleep, eat and go every day. There is a small fridge provided which was helpful.

Great base of a high standard

Three night stay to attend a music festival. The reception area is large, airy and with plenty of seating and has a great little Starbucks counter. The checking in process was flawless and staff were professional and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable albeit a little tired in areas. There was no AC but two fans had been provided which did the trick. The buffet breakfast was excellent, especially the cooked sausage! And totally set us up for the day. It is possible to walk into town but it is also on a bus route which stops across the road from the hotel. For what we wanted this hotel gave us it and more.

Initially struggled to get parked as very full car park. Check in was easy and very straight forward. Room was a great size and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. No air con but a floor fan was provided although it was loud so sleep was a little broken. Breakfast was standard but was impressed with the gluten free options they had on offer. The crockery was stained at breakfast and in room but. Tea and coffee options available in room. With decaf coffee available. No hot chocolate which my children would have liked.
