Would give Toni and his property an absolute 10 out of 10. The pictures do not do it justice! The most stunning little flat right above the cove… we had just a wonderful time..there were days we didn’t even want to leave the flat. The view + dock right under the house, made staying home a treat. The town is picturesque. Toni was incredibly helpful and welcoming (gave us recommendations daily). Will 100% be returning.

This is a fabulous house right in the heart of Sa Mesquida.

We simply loved staying here. Right on the sea and a perfect location in the heart of the village. Views from the living room are spectacular. There’s an excellent little restaurant 2 minutes away. You can swim from the rocks just around the corner and there is a lovely beach 20 minutes walk away. Toni is welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our favourite activity simply sitting at the outside table listening to the sea. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic location and views. It was great to fall asleep to the sound of the sea and relax in the evening on the terrace. Toni was also a very friendly host. The kids and William very much enjoyed swimming literally from the house

We had a wonderful stay in this little old fishing village that has changed little over the centuries. Our apartment was loaded with the same charm as the beautiful bay and blue water.

Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. Toni, our host, was most accommodating and lovely. Gave us the most wonderful recommendations of things to do. The home was so quaint and lovely in an idyllic fishing village. We wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet location with only the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep!

Sa Mesquida is a lovely village; quiet, beautiful, off the beaten track and we loved the fact we could swim/snorkel direct from our front door (well, almost) in a safe bay area with loads to see underwater. Toni and Ana were really helpful and left a lovely 'welcome pack' which was great for us as we arrived on a late flight. 5 Stars for location, comfort (air con!) and for Menorca generally (we loved the mix of beaches and museums, nature reserves and 4000 year old archaeology).

Peaceful Escape

This little Fisherman's Cottage was just what we were after. It is in a very quiet area and has direct access to the sea. We do not like to go to busy tourist areas with entertainment or crowds, so for us this was paradise.

This island rivals Maui and Santorini!

We loved loved loved being here for a week. So much so that we have booked for next year. Toni and Ana are wonderful hosts. The house is extremely well kept, clean, and the views cannot be beat. This location rivals Maui and San Torini! You need a car, but driving around the island is part of its charm and it's simple and fun to do...you can't really get lost. The north, south, east and west beaches are well worth exploring as are the inner island areas. Thank you Toni and Ana for our stay at your casa that exceeded all our expectations!

Lovely little secret in Menorca

We stayed at Toni's little house over the sea the 3rd week of Sep 2017, and loved every moment. From the very start Toni was amazingly helpful, and kindness itself. (You were our intro to Menorca, Toni - and the best we could have wished for!). The house is simply but cosily decorated, with everything we needed, including fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome package from Toni, who met us at the airport and drove ahead to make sure we would find it. The terrace would be a bit of a squeeze for four, but for two was ideal, and we sat out every night enjoying the complete peace or activities in the village. The house (Pepe's house) really is right over the sea, and our television wasn't switched on once. Instead we sat where Toni's father had sat for many years, breathing in the sea, or throwing open the huge windows at night to hear the waves as we slept. Sa Mesquida is a lovely mix of authenticity and mostly Menorcans with weekend houses there. The neighbours were also very friendly and it gave us the feeling of being part of the village. The neighbouring village of es Murtar is worth a one-time detour for the pure peace of its tiny harbour, watching the locals get their fishing boats ready for their next trip. And the location is handy for es Grau with the fascinating nature reserve or the wonderful coastal walk from there to the lighthouse. We found it a lovely base for exploring the south end of the island, returning to our wee haven at night, and although there are no shops in Sa Mesquida it's a fairly quick drive into Mao or to the smaller supermarket in es Grau. For those, like us, who enjoy the smaller places, the harbour promenade of Cales Fonts is much more attractive than the traffic promenade of Mao, especially the end walking from Cales Fonts towards Es Castell. The old town of Mao deserves more time than the promenade. Further south, Cala Alcaufur with its little sandy beach & weekend houses along both sides of the harbour has retained its charm. The vineyard "Binifadet" in Sant Lluis is also well worth a visit. Whatever you do, visit all of the lighthouses for fascinating, ever-changing landscapes, go north and walk the coast, enjoying wonderful Cala Pregonda beach (Toni's tip, not overcrowded end of September), roam through Ciutadella, and take in at least one of the ancient sites (Naveta des Tudons or the caves at Cala Morell), and always pack your swimsuit! Perfect, just as described

We chose this property because we wanted to explore Minorca and have a quiet restful stay. La Mesquida is not spoilt by tourism and most of the properties were owned and occupied by locals. It was a beautiful traditional location, we walked to the beach but you could have swam there directly from the property! It was a great location to then drive from and explore the rest of the island. The property was a small but a well maintained old fishing cottage. It was equipped with everything you needed. Many thanks to the owner Toni, who was generous and friendly, on arrival and when we left.

A precious place to stay

Séjour parfait les pieds dans l'eau et au calme

Que du positif à dire sur la jolie maison de Toni, l'emplacement est idéal au bord d'une petit baie calme, peu de touristes en cette mi juin donc idéal pour se reposer et profiter de ce paysage magnifique, ainsi que des plages de l'ile. Toni est un hôte avec qui nous avons échangé avec beaucoup de plaisir, et nous avons pu suivre ses conseils avisés ! Vraiment un séjour de rêve rien de négatif à signaler... Toni offre du café du sucre et de l'eau en début de séjour, c'est très sympa. Si vraiment il fallait faire une suggestion je dirai de rajouter quelques petits consommables bien utiles comme du sel/poivre/huile, on en trouve souvent dans les locations. Et juste préciser dans l'annonce que la clim ne se trouve que dans la pièce principale mais pas dans les chambres. Super parenthèse on espère pouvoir la refaire une autre fois !! Merci Toni :)

Un séjour de rêve

Appartement très lumineux et calme, dans un environnement magique au bord d'une eau cristalline. Toni a été très accueillant (petites attentions culinaires à l'arrivée, guides touristiques à dispo pour nous expliquer les visites à faire à Minorque, etc...) Paradise in Menorca

This apartment has by far exceeded our expectations. It is lovely, the setting is perfect, the sea just a few steps away, the snorkeling was beautiful. The photos don t give the place justice, it is by far better. The owner Toni is very nice and helpful. All the neighbors are nice. The city of Mahon is less than 10 minutes drive where everything you could need is available . We were a family of 4 with 2 grown boys and enjoyed every minute of our stay, and our evening dinners on the lovely terrace.
