Walk through the shops of the Karen and other hill tribe villagers who are selling their unique goods next to large importers of textiles and fabric. See nature firsthand at the Highland Farm and Gibbon Sanctuary. It's a refuge for formerly abused animals which have been rescued and given a home. You can learn the techniques of hill tribes cooking, and all proceeds go to support their villages.

Take a break from the city and visit Pha Charoen Waterfall. It’s about an hour from Mae Sot and there are hardly any tourists who make it to these beautiful falls.
