Hotel is located right at front of the plaza el sol which is the main plaza in Madrid. You can request a room with a view to the plaza but be aware that comes with noice from the outside. Those rooms have a balcony from which you can appreciate the busy activity in the plaza and a beautiful view to the presidencial house. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and many activities in the area.

Property location is central to everything . Easy access metro, shopping, dinning and activities . It is a lively place. Over night the streets are clean up. Hotel was clean, staffs are very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay at hotel Europa again!!

Had a good stay, however, on Expedia the description for a double room said it slept 3. When we arrived the desk attendants did not allow a 3rd person in the reservation. It resulted in additional fees which could've been avoided if they had updated their page on Expedia.

This was a fantastic stay - the parking close by was so helpful and the staff went above and beyond. Small touches like the cot in the room beautifully made up with amenity kit for kids was lovely. The location is phenomenal. We wanted to try and stay a second night but they were booked out ! Will be our go to hotel in Madrid for the foreseeable future ! Thank you to the amazing staff for being so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay

We booked a six-night stay in a suite with a terrace at Hotel Europa, paying extra for the upgrade. Upon arrival, we were downgraded to a small room with single beds and a tiny, unusable balcony which was nowhere near what we reserved. The hotel didn’t not give us an explanation for our downgrade and did not communicate whether or not we’d be in the room at all during our stay. The location is great, but the lack of accountability or communication left us incredibly frustrated. If we’d known the suite wasn’t available, we would’ve stayed elsewhere. Incredibly poor handling of the situation. We would not recommend unless you’re okay with risking your reservation.
