AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! IT IS A DISGRACE! Our stay — or rather, our attempted stay — at this so-called hotel was an absolute nightmare. We arrived in Madinah around 10:15 PM on February 21, 2025, after a long and exhausting journey from Makkah, expecting to rest for the night. Instead, we were met with confusion, frustration, and sheer incompetence. First of all, the address provided by the property was completely inaccurate — we couldn’t locate the hotel despite circling the area multiple times. It was like the place didn’t even exist. To make matters worse, the property management was utterly unresponsive. I tried calling numerous times from our hotel in Makkah before our arrival, and no one ever picked up. When I finally managed to get through via WhatsApp and informed them about our late arrival, all they said was “ok.” No guidance, no assistance — nothing. The communication was non-existent and shockingly unprofessional. It felt like a complete scam. We were left stranded in an unfamiliar city late at night, with my wife and 5-year-old child, with no hotel to check into and no help from the property whatsoever. In desperation, we had to find another hotel last minute, and of course, ended up paying far more than we had budgeted. The stress and anxiety caused by this experience were overwhelming. Not knowing anyone, struggling with the language barrier, and being abandoned by a property we trusted made this one of the worst travel experiences.

I think hotels loke these shoild be taken down from expedia. I had a booking, and on getting there, i was told no room available. It was quite ridiculous at the start, but it turns out to be true. No one should be allowed to go through this all because of a terrible hotel with terrible staffs that can only communicate in Arabic and couldn't even read. The whole business is a joke.

It was very bad experience from the 1st night, people were smoking all over the Hotel, you get too much smell even in your room, i couldn’t sleep, never recommend this Hotel.. but Thanks and appreciated for Hotel.com to understand and handle the situation and able to relocate my hotel next day with my convenience with the same price.. On arrival we and two other families were told that our booking is cancelled, and offered us an other place to stay which was worse than this, when I told them that I am going to call and complain to Saudi authorities then we were given accommodation. Wasn't happy because it wasn't like showing on hotels.com website

Cheap but not cheerful

Before I list some of the negatives, I just want to say I got what I paid for. I got a super cheap room for the family for 2/3 days. Having said that, the beds were not good quality, the bed sheets were probably washed but they were worn out and looked unwashed. The blankets were def not washed, they weren't dirty but you can tell by the fur they weren't washed. I asked for an additional pillow, I did get given one, but the staff weren't sure if I would get one as they don't keep spare. No toilet paper provided. AC looked broken and very noisy, although it did make the room cool enough for us to sleep. People were smoking in the lobby of the hotel. Staff were friendly.

I recently stayed at Hotel Masa al Najwa madinah, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel did not meet basic hygiene standards. The lobby had a musty smell, and the carpets were stained, which set an unwelcoming tone for my stay. The cleanliness of the room was equally concerning; I found hair in the bathroom and dust accumulated on surfaces, which made me question the overall sanitization efforts of the establishment. Another significant drawback was the hotel's location and accessibility. The public transportation options were limited, making it difficult to explore the area or reach nearby attractions. This inconvenience added unnecessary stress to my trip, as I had to rely on expensive taxi services to get around. What truly made my experience unpleasant was the attitude of the staff. I encountered rudeness from several employees who seemed disinterested in providing assistance. When I raised concerns about the hygiene issues, their responses were dismissive, and they refused to offer any solutions or even a change of room. It felt like any attempt to negotiate was met with a cold shoulder, leaving me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. In summary, my stay at Hotel Masa al Najwa madinah was marred by poor hygiene, inadequate public transportation, and unhelpful staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience. There are plenty of other options a

The bed were broken carpet was filthy and not safe as they were bumpy and everyone was tripping over and I fell really badly. The kitchen the fridge was leaking n the electric cooker (main reason we booked the accommodation) was not working and with bathroom the shower head was leaking which was changed on the last day ... Bedding was dirty ..location is close to haram but definitely not walking distance due to works being done ... My son n brother broke out in hives don't know y but I guess dirty blankets or bed bugs not sure ... No cleaning tools hover brush was left to self clean even ... But rubbish bins were cleaned when left in corridor.. reception staff was rude n unkind there were elderly guests n they wouldn't even bother to get off their game or phone to help which was sad and reflected poor customer service too.

They have simply lied about the property. And the amenities . There is no room service. They talk about a common kitchen which doesn’t exist. I womder why expedia would even list this. They charged extra riyals for credit card charge.

Stay was horrible mainly because of hotel’s condition. Cockroaches were roaming around in the room and washroom. If you are a westerner please do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel. Never going to stay here again. I was staying in Madina for a few hours. Only needed a place to keep my luggage.
