This was a great stay the staff was wonderful from the front desk to the outdoor bar everything was great. My spouse and I came for my birthday it was quiet, peaceful versus our house with 10 plus people. The room was clean and very nice, the amenities were also fun could have had jet skis and a little club for us but other than that it was the greatest experience ever. The restaurant served great food and wine was the chefs kiss.. And let us not forget the exemplary taxi services from Francis and Steve…We will most definitely be coming back again

We had a group of 25, all booked separately , they messed up most of our rooms , didn’t put us on beachfront rooms that we requested. We also booked 5 months in advance. The website shows and advertises Two pools , one with cabanas , they only have ONE pool and the other with cabanas have been closed for two years but the pictures still remain online. Four days before our stay we were informed all hot tubs are closed , no reason why. On the second night all of the 5 stalls on the women’s pool Bathroom flooded and were closed down the remainder of the week. With only two bathrooms to use in the lobby. ALL cab prices are $30 a person one way , so get ready to spend some money of leaving the resort. To see this place get an 8 star is laughable. So sad to celebrate a friends 50th here . Would NOT return or recommend

The room was clean except for some stuff was left in the sink. The first room we got there was a big chunk missing out of the door, and the back door didnt want to open, so they put us in another room. The doors opened and were fine but there was some bugs, or gross stuff left in the sink. Most of the staff were curtious but some of them were super rude. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night and it wasnt very good nor was it enough food, so my husband ordered a cheeseburger from the bar and was not impressed, so we explored the island and ate out for most of our trip. The ocean was great, the pools and hot tub were all excellent. We just didnt use this hotel for the all inclusive that it should have been. We never used the casino or the other activities at this hotel so we dont have a review on all of that.

2025 Thanksgiving week was quiet, the hotel room was average, clean, and the shower and bed wer amazing. We slept great. The view is amazing, very windy this time of year. The pool was chilly. Hot tub worked fine. The hotel was changing cable providers, TV got 5 channels for the whole week, IT had to help a few times to get them to work. FYI, Thanksgiving Football. :( Since they have limited guests, having a buffet for meals didnt prove cost effective, so limited choices each night for an all inclusive. :( The hotel is still undergoing some renovations and changes. :( The 2nd pool and putt putt was not available. Im not a gambler, but the casio was packed and people seemed happy, our driver won big last week. No TV's or football in the casino. The hotel staff was great and accomdating. Always starting the conversation with Im sorry. The pool side bar and grill staff made the trip amaizing for us. Thank you SCOTT and NATI.

My stay at carina bay was everything i could have asked for the staff was the most amazing part the hospitality here never lacked and i will definitely be making a point to come back. The food was amazing though we were limited to one restaurant the menu was changed every night and the options were great they have a wide variety of wine and a full bar. The ocean front view was beautiful & my room was very comfortable the only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wifi & power were on and off throughout my stay so it was a little inconvenient when time to contact my driver because you don't get signal on the resort so you rely on wifi other than that i had an amazing stay and i want to give a specific shoutout to Elisha, Jason & Scott for making my stay so wonderful there were so many more names i wish i could remember Thank you guys again & see you soon !!

The positives are the rooms were clean, food was very good and staff was great when they got to know us. The negatives, the hottub is still broke and appears it has been for a long time. There is only one bar and two restaurants and the one restaurant was only open 3 of the 7 days we were there. There was not a large selection of food either. There is really nothing to do there and there was probably only about 10 other people there outside of our group.
