The Complete Package: A Real Home Away from Home!
Accommodating up to 7 guests, The Snow House is ideally set up for a small family or two with 3 bedrooms (all with heating), open plan lounge, dining and living area plus large wrap around verandah.
The lovely front deck is perfectly positioned to allow you to relax & unwind while the BBQ sizzles away and provides you with postcard views.
The Snow House is also pet friendly however conditions apply; prior written approval must be given by the property manager. In addition, whilst the property is fully fenced, it is rural fencing only which means not secure for any little runaway dogs and/or dogs that can jump high over fences!

In the warmer months, wander down to the waters edge and enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and all that the lake has to offer. Kick the footy with the kids or throw the Frisbee in the secure yard.

In winter take the easy 30min drive to Mt Buller, go for a bush walk or simply keep cosy indoors by relaxing on the couch by the crackling of the wood fire reading a book or watching a movie.... For that real country feel, take the kids and toast some marshmallows down by the designated fire pit *conditions apply

Apart from being one of the best locations for water and snow activities, there are many nearby attractions including horse riding, cycling, 4-wheel driving, motor bike riding, markets, plus much more and with an abundance of wildlife, great fishing and a relaxing atmosphere, you won't want to leave!

The Snow House is a great base to set off from to explore what the High Country Mountains, Rivers and Lakes have to offer. Or simply stay at home, relax & enjoy the natural peace and watch the sunsets from the verandah and stargaze into the clearest of night skies.

Ski boat weekend away

Perfect, homely family space
We felt at home from the moment we arrived. This place has everything a family needs. Clean, modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable living area and spacious bedrooms. The huge outdoor area was perfect for our two labradors, with a secure garage for the car and boat. Fluffy towels, a BBQ, aircon/heating and an awesome tv to relax in front of after a busy day. We’d love to return.

Lovely house
We had an amazing time staying in this lovely house. WIFI connection was pretty fast!! Also the house can be easily seen even at night time (as we arrived after 7pm) Overall experience was excellent! Will definitely recommend this place. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Lovely pet friendly, quiet spot on lake Eildon
We stayed here for a week after Easter and it was a lovely quiet location with great ammenities. It's about 20 minutes drive from the nearest shops in Mansfield so you need to bring in supplies. Because the lake was full, it was just a few minutes walk to the water. Our dog had a great time swimming in the lake. It was a great spot for day trips to Mansfield, Jamieson and Mount Bulla. The only thing we didn't like was the bedding. The listing states it includes all bed linen, but this is just a fitted sheet and doonah on each of the beds. We all found it uncomfortable to not have a top sheet, particularly as we prefer to sleep without heating on and the rooms got quite cold over night. There was also no blankets available for extra warmth or using in the lounge room, just extra doonahs. The doonahs really weren't comfortable to curl up in on the couch, and two doonahs on the bed got too warm.

Beautiful property with all the mod cons
We really enjoyed our stay at The Snow House in summer. We spent days at the water and time in the high country. So much to do with Mansfield and Jamieso n both closely. The locals were vocal at referring to us as 'holidaymakers' as it was peak season but we didn't let that bother us.

Great holiday house!
We had such a great time in Macs Cove & the location was ideal for us especially being able to go night fishing just up the road. The house was very clean & tidy & had everything we needed. Amazing big yard for the kids to play & our dog to run around. The only negative was that the price per night was overly expensive compared to other similar houses in the area. Will definitely rent the Snow house again if price per night is lowered.
