Guest Access:
If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. You will head down the road past the parking lot. Follow the one way road all the way back as it turns to the right. You will pass a garage and stand alone cabin. Go a little further and your cabin will be the one on your right with the orange chairs on the deck. The cabin name is Oak. Pull off to the unloading area to get all of your things into the cabin and then keep following the dirt road around back to the parking lot to park. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to your cabin. We wanted to keep the property quiet, peaceful and natural for all of our guests so you can enjoy all the property has to offer! Please feel free to check out our property but please be mindful of other guests. You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to go. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.

The Neighborhood:
This property is a private property with 10 cabins on it. There is one neighbor up on the hill and other neighbors across the river. Everyone keeps to themselves and is quiet so please be respectful.

Parking- please use the One Way road to get to your cabin to unload your things. Always go the same direction to get back to the parking lot. The road is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other in certain spots.

Other Things to Note:
Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bear, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge.

Outdoor Firepits: We have 5 outdoor gas firepits on the property. Please feel free to use them! Just remember to turn off the firepit and the propane when you are done.

River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area.

WIFI: we do have great wifi, however we are in the canyon and at times depending on weather etc it can be alittle spotty.

A few issues
The cabin was sweet, but not a fan on the parking so far away from the cabin especially walking back at night. The walls were quite thin and could hear next door neighbors and we could have used a curtain or blinds in the bathroom.

A+. Great Little Mountain Cabin!
Overall impressed and the stay was very enjoyable. The inside looked to be recently renovated and nicely furnished. We used as homebase for exploring RMNP and other places of interest. Comfy bed and all appliances worked great. Location was quiet, loved the location and ambiance next to the small stream nearby. Will recommend to others.
