Just between the 2 rivers, very close to restaurants and shops. The staff were all very helpful, especially Lili. We probably won't be back to Lyon, if we are, this will be our place to stay.

the hotel is impeccable, the location is great and the staff is very attentive and efficient. They offer a great breakfast daily at a reasonable price. Overall the place is quiet and the double windows keep any outside noise out I would recommend this hotel highly.

Positive: Despite the central location, the hotel is very quiet. Amazing to sleep. I found the beds very comfortable and the room was also big enough. I didn’t try the breakfast so I cannot say anything about it. The staff was also very nice. What I didn’t like was: I was confused about the room service. I never knew what the cleaning team would clean or replace. It all seemed random. Sometimes I would get a new towel for the floor but not a new one for my body. The protection glass in the shower was too narrow. The floor was always wet.

The hotel’s front desk staff was super friendly and always very helpful when I had questions. The room was clean and well appointed. I liked the style of the decor. The lobby is a good size for a small hotel and very welcoming and comfortable. The hotel is half a block from the river (perfect) and only three blocks from the main shopping area. Yet it sits in such a quiet location. You are in the heart of the city, but you don’t experience the noise of a big city. I was in Lyon for the first time. Loved the city so much I will return in the warmer months. I will definitely be staying at Hotel des Artistes.
