Located in one of Lyon's most iconic neighborhoods, just a few minutes' walk from the famous Canuts fresco, this beautiful apartment on the 5th and top floor is the ideal choice for exploring Lyon while being close to everything. The apartment's windows overlook the Croix-Rousse hill, the Canut district; a bridge to cross, and you'll find yourself in the superb historic district of Vieux Lyon, with its cobbled streets and typical bouchon shops and restaurants. You'll also enjoy the creative market on the Saône quays every Sunday morning.
The apartment is located in a typical old building, full of charm, with the old caretaker's lodge still standing. To access the apartment, an elevator takes you to the 4th floor, then you'll have to walk up to the top floor, which is very quiet.
Once inside, you'll enjoy a beautiful, bright, open-plan living room-kitchen area with unobstructed views of Croix-Rousse Hill and the hidden historic gem of Clos Saint Benoît and its gardens. The living room features a comfortable sofa with an HD TV, a dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals from scratch. The bedroom has a 140x190cm double bed and also overlooks the quiet interior courtyard; there's no street noise at all, even in the city center. A variety of books are also available for your reading pleasure. You'll also enjoy a bathroom with a shower stall and a macerator toilet, common in older buildings (instructions for use are available in the apartment).
