Best view ever!

We loved our room--bright, clean, and comfortable. The bed was super comfy--soft sheets and great pillows. Our favorite part was the balcony overlooking the river and Boldt Castle. We couldn't have asked for a better setting. Even though it was October and chilly, we spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the water and several times watching the big ships go by. It felt like we were on a cruise boat.

Quick, polite check in, with good review of parking and policies, led to great stay. Ideal location on waterfront with fantastic views of river, Boldt Castle and many other islands. Right next to Uncle Sam Boat Tours/taxi to Boldt (highly recommend) and Blu Anchor bar/grill (good food and drink). Easy walk up James St to shops and more "pitstops". Note: Alex Bay is a summer season tour town. Many bars, restaurants close down by late Sept. Room was clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay. The room was clean; it had all the amenities that we would want, including a refrigerator, TV, free Wi-Fi. We even had a little balcony with a water view, which was a surprise. The staff were informative, friendly, professional, and responsive. For example, at around 8:20 PM the first night we were there, we could not figure out how to work the TV remote; we left a voicemail on the hotel’s phone number. I figured probably that no one would hear it till the next morning. But within 10 minutes, someone was knocking on our door, who said he heard the voicemail and was here to help. The bed pillows were very comfortable. There was delicious, freshly brewed coffee in the lobby in the morning. Another thing that I liked is they have a strict quiet time in the hotel 10 PM to 9 AM; so you don’t have to worry about raucous neighbors making too much noise. We were in Alexandria Bay September 29 to October 1. One thing to note at that time of the year a lot of restaurants are closed for breakfast; a few were open for dinner. The town is kind of quiet, which I liked. Capt. Thomson’s has a restaurant across the street from the hotel, which is open for all meals; the meals were good and service was quick at the dinner and breakfast meal we had over there.

Spacious and clean room. Seems like all apartments have balconies facing water- fantastic touch. I was worried about being woken up by the tour boats parked right outside but did not hear a thing. Only steps away from the main street but far enough to keep the noise down. Would definitely go back there.

This property was absolutely perfect! The cleanliness of our room was like no other place we have ever stayed. The linens were spotlessly clean and you could smell freshness the minute you opened the door. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions regarding the area. We are planning our next visit here already!
