This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it.

Hotel Heidpark ist nur noch ein Hotel Garni, es wurde anders angeboten,Frühstück war aber ok, Möbel im Zimmer sind abgewohnt, wir entschieden uns für ein Zimmer zur Strassenseite wegen des Kühlschranks, aber der war leider kaputt ,wurde auch nicht ausgetauscht,somit konnte man sich auch kein Getränk kalt stellen,es gab auch kein Wasserkocher damit man sich mal einen Tee oder Kaffee hätte machen können, der Zimmerpreis ist nicht gerecht,das Personal war aber sehr freundlich

EIn wohl in den 70er Jahren eröffnetes Haus, mit genau diesem Charme. Zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Es wird mit viel liebe und Herzblut geführt, was deutlich spürbar ist. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hat gerne typische Touristenfragen beantwortet. Der kurze Fußweg in die Stadt war sehr angenehm, ebenfalls die kostenlosen Parkplätze vor der Tür. Vom Frühstücksbüffet waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht (der hausgebackene Kuchen ist sehr zu empfehlen) und haben es, in der gemütlichen Atmosphäre, ausgiebig genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!
