Great property, but the staff is what made me submit a review. Antonia at the front desk made our two days in Zürich better than we could’ve imagined. She suggested restaurants and things to do and treated us with respect and care. I could tell she genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time, and that is incredibly valuable these days.

It was an easy walk from the train station and easy location for taking the local buses. We got a free bus pass from the front desk and used to travel all over Lucerne. The front staff were very knowledgeable with good English skills. Be aware that it is an old building and is not allowed to have AC. We were there in May so it was pleasant....not too sure about how it would be in summer. We had a lovely room with a small balcony but the traffic noise was too loud to leave the window open. All in all....a lovely hotel that I would definitely stay in again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It does not have AC in the rooms, but they do have fans available for the rooms if needed. The hotel is close to walking to the shores of Lake Lucerne. The hotel bar and restaurant has great food and drinks.

Friendly staff made this rainy day so much more pleasant. Umbrella was offered to keep us dry. Area close by to the covered bridge and many wonderful restaurants. A true gem.

We loved it at this place. The breakfast was superb. We never ate there for dinner, but a lot of people seemed to enjoy it. The atmosphere is cute and the beds comfy. The shower was also phenomenal. They also provided a loaner backpack to take while you went exploring.

Fantastic hotel centrally located

A central and clean hotel with lovely decor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety. All staff were polite and friendly. We loved our stay here!

Loved the decor and design at this hotel! The bar area is particularly lovely and serves great food. Breakfast had a variety of options to enjoy. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Excellent location- 10 mins tops to the riverside, same again for the station. Area around the hotel is busy but felt safe. Room was nice/stylishly done, but did have an ‘open’ set up to the bathroom, which when sharing may or may not be an issue? Something to bear in mind. All in all, a great stay!
