We really enjoyed our stay! The minimal challenges were more a me issue. Struggling with some of the issues, such as laundry. The directions were in German. Also would help if simple things were written down. Such as laundry shuts off at 10 and there is none available on Sunday. Overall, a pleasure to stay here. Super convenient to Lucerne and surrounding areas. Great transit options right outside your door!

Pros - location is in walking distance to major attractions and transportation - large space enough for our family of 5- the space was clean - the host provided teas and other nice touches like q-tips, toys, and milkCons - very poor communication!!- we were never given check-in instructions and I had to ask the morning of check-in. Turns out they meet you on site which is fine but that information would have been good before hand. We also gave our time of arrival and ended up waiting on the street with all of our luggage for about 20 minutes. - As we are not from Europe, some simple instructions for the household would have been good… for example, we had a hard time figuring out how to light the stove. Another example was that the listing said laundry on site (which I thought meant in the suite) but it’s actually a shared laundry room in the basement for the entire building. There was a laundry card provided but we had NO idea what to do. We had to ask a neighbour what the card was for. I even messaged the host asking how to do laundry and the only response was “you have to be lucky and hope a machine is available”. Then when we did have an available machine, we had zero instructions on how to use the card. Not knowing the language or anything we had to wait for a resident to come downstairs to ask for help.This property has great potential but a guest book or instruction manual is very much needed.

Perfect place to stay to explore Lucerne

This apartment was so convenient to do anything and everything in Lucerne. It was a 5 minute walk to a grocery store, 10 minutes to central Lucerne and right on the bus line. It had everything you could need in it and the owners were absolutely lovely and so easy to communicate with. We would stay here again without a question. We had a car that they had a garage to park it in but we did not even need it the whole time we were there.

Die Wohnung ist super schön. Sehr stylisch aber trotzdem total gemütlich. Wir wurden ganz herzlich begrüßt und in der Wohnung waren alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich vorstellen kann. Auf ganz viele Kleinigkeiten wurde viel Wert gelegt. Man fühlt sich einfach sehr willkommen als Gast. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war im Voraus und während des Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
