A separate terrace offers the ideal situation for al fresco dining. Situated in a rural location in the heart of the Gascony countryside, Maison Lajus is an ideal setting for a peaceful relaxing holiday, or a centre for exploring the local vineyards (Madiran, Jurancon, Cotes de Gascogne) the majestic Pyrenees Mountains or the dramatic beaches of St Jean De Luz, Biarittz, Hossegor & further north to the Dune du Pilat. The property is within 45 minutes of Lourdes & on a minor route of the pilgrim's trail the Camino de St Jacques. The Tour de France is often routed within a few kilometers of the house. The beautiful city of Pau, again only 45 minutes drive is famous for the oldest golf course in Europe as well as motor & equestrian events, Marciac for Jazz festivals, Plaisance, Eauze & Aire sur L'Adour all within 50 kilometers.
