Lubbock Hotels with a Balcony

After checking into the room I was washing up and noticed it was dirty behind the faucet, I looked closer and saw an old dried up contact lens. I went and told the front desk and they called house keeping. I decided I’d go for a walk. I was gone for almost 2 hours and when I got back the room still hadn’t been cleaned. I went to the front desk again and complained. One of the ladies there went up and personally cleaned it. I then went to the bar and ordered a rare ribeye and it came out well done, they sent it back and when I got it again it was closer to raw than rare. Kitchen manager came out and talked with me and he made it right. I normally don’t complain but for this price of room and steak my expectations were higher than what I received. Front desk ladies, bartenders and managers of the bar/kitchen were all super friendly and polite. If ever in Lubbock again I will give it another shot.

Right next to a Walmart and several restaurants, no issues with room, staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

I wasn’t able to fully connect to the wi-fi. In the room it never connected. It would connect when I was by the door, close to the hallway but it would always drop once I was completely in the room. There was only one wash cloth and it had a red stain on it. The clerk was nice and gave me a clean one.
