The house is a great location. We were disappointed by the hot tub not working, which was the only reason we chose this property for our stay. Communication was great with the owner until the moment I asked about the hot tub not working. I still have not heard back the entire stay. The toilet paper and towels were lacking when I booked it for 5 people. Some of the blankets smelled like urine. The yard looks like it has not been maintained in months. We swept off the porches from the debris. Also, there was food under one of the beds, rotting fruit on the counter, rotting potatoes in the pantry and trash in the closets.

Think twice

The location was perfect & the neighborhood is very nice, but the house itself was grody & grungy. •A bag of trash was left on the dining table & there was trash under both queen beds in one bedroom.•No towel racks in one bathroom & no hand towels. (We had to purchase our own.)•The coffee pot had been used and put back without being washed.•The refrigerator had mustard stains in it, and the freezer had dead bugs and an empty ice bag.•The back door was not locked.•A couple of doorknobs fell off.•Several light bulbs were not screwed in all the way.•The front & back yards were not kept, in stark contrast to the pretty neighborhood. We didn’t even go out in the backyard; it was too scary.•The headboards and other furniture were dusty. (I know, it’s Lubbock and the wind blows. But this was grungy dust.)•The sheets did seem to be clean, however. It's a really nice house & it's a shame that it was in that condition.

Texas Tech Visit

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Texas Tech. Very spacious home with privacy for 2 couples to share. Short drive to campus with off street parking for 2 vehicles. Only complaint was that it was warm at night, however the host did provide fans for each of the bedrooms which helped.

Not good

House was dirty. Trash was full. No soap anywhere. There were 3 towels in the whole house to use which made using the hot tub not a reality. Many of the pillows on the beds had no pillow cases. The twin bed in the house had no sheets to use. Property manager was not on sight to help but says he usually is. Perhaps the next guess will have a better experience but we did not.
