Vilamoura, located in the Algarve, is one of the best holiday destinations in Europe, known for it's large Marina, numerous internationally recognised golf courses and a beautiful sunny beach extending for several kilometres. There is a lot to do within the region, including boat tours, water parks and historic towns to explore, including traditional fishermen villages and mountain castles. From Vilamoura there are many interesting day trips to the surrounding region, such as Silves, Faro, Loulé and Albufeira. The local food is great, especially sea food.
