If you need a stop off of I5 before heading into LA traffic, this is a good choice. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Lobby is small, but staff are friendly and breakfast is hot.

There was black mold in the shower. The toilet wasn't completely secured to the floor. There was a giant haur ball in the sink. We had 2 washcloths and one was clearly dirty. There was a dead fly on the counter in front of the coffee maker. I made my concerns known to the person at the front desk this morning (11/04/2025 at 9:30am). She didn't even bother to stand up to acknowledge me. Therefore I couldn't even see her name tag. And then she just said "OK.... you're all good." I expect this reaction from one of the lower grade hotels but not a Days Inn. I was really disappointed in the stay. I don't think this particular hotel should remain on Expedia.

This is a good choice for an affordable stop right off the freeway. The room was nice in ways that count. Clean comfortable bed, vinyl floors, no chemical cleaner smell. I’d stay here again.
