Overall very good ,the only negative is the water color at the beach. This is due to the large river next to the property and the fresh water mixrs with the salt water.

The property is very nice and everything was kept clean and in good condition. Check in and check out was quick and easy. If your Spanish is limited don't worry there were enough English speaking staff members to assist you or answer questions. Food option were plentiful. I'm not really an alcoholic drinker but ppl seemed to like the drinks.All staff I encountered were very friendly and nice. The pool areas were great and kept very clean. Beach area was ok. The staff did a great job of entertaining the guests. If I had 1 negative to say the bed for me was not the most comfortable. All in all my friend and I had a great stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romona. I would definitely come back to this resort one day. .

Staff are excellent and entertainment was fun. Food was ok not many restaurants but buffet had lots of variety. There was a lot of fly over the food, not many vegetarian options or if there was they put all vegetarian right next to meet sections. The room layout is very strange and outdated. The property was beautiful, the pool was incredible, the dining and bars were easily accessible. The beach areas were kept groomed and clean. The only disappoint was the color of the water, when you travel to the Caribbean, you expect crystal clear blue water, not brown.
