Smaller property and just after spring break so not overly busy, which was great! The staff were excellent, the food at the restaurant was amazing at the buffet, not so much. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance so it was all good.

The staff was amazing, polite and helpful. The food is the only thing that wasn’t great. It was bland I felt bad getting food I didn’t like and throwing it away. Breakfast was the best, they have amazing juices and you can get an omelette made to your liking. The French toast was good so was the snack bar for lunch. It’s not fancy but it’s affordable and pleasant. Since it is in San Jose you will have to go on an activity that includes transportation or uber which is 30.00 to see the attractions like the arches. We did the snorkel activity on a double layer bus. It was worth the money and the lunch on board was great. Grey line is in the lobby area by the buffet.

I booked this reservation almost a month in advance via Expedia. On arrival, the resort denied all knowledge of having our reservation and then proceeded to try to charge $700 above the $1400 which the reservation was confirmed. I was on the phone with Expedia for an hour and 30 minutes. Which they eventually gave up, trying to communicate with the hotel because they were being difficult. The Expedia representative had to call the reservations department of the resort because the front desk would not communicate. With Expedia. Which created a 90-minute-long game of telephone, and which nothing happened. Eventually, Expedia booked me through another resort and gave me the same rate, which was greatly appreciated.

We only stayed one night and glad it was no more. Seafood night in the buffet consisted of pasta with a few shrimp… the staff are good, especially Karin, such a nice young man! The drinks really weren’t the best and the glasses are cheap plastic. Hotel is pretty outdated

We had a great week staying here. The size of the resort is perfect and very manageable to get around. The pool area was very chill and not very busy. Contrary to some other reviews on here we loved the food. The buffet had lots of different options and each night was a different theme. Everything we ate was delicious no complaints. The pool restaurant was open throughout the day with a small snack menu including burgers, fries, and a handful of other good options. At night it turned into Luna restaurant that you made reservations at. We had a great experience there as well. All of the staff we came across was very friendly, and the entertainment at night was good. Walkable to some shops around and only a 10 minute cab ride to downtown San Jose with lots of cool shops and Thursday night Art market. We would definitely stay here again. Very clean and again all of the food was so good very fresh and delicious. The only suggestions we have was a second bartender at the pool as sometimes it got backed up. Also some service around the pool would have been helpful but that's just a small detail. Great place onhey beautiful stretch of beach in San jose, we would definitely come here again!

Fairly close to the airport but overall a nice stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms very tight and small. The pools and beach are were very nice and lots of activities throughout the day and evening. Only 2 food places to choose from and 1 required reservations for dinner and didn’t find the food at that one great but the non stop buffet one had excellent food option and great hours so spent most of our time there.

The property is clean and well maintained. I really love that it's a smaller resort, you're never far from you room. The staff is friendly (Alondra and pool crew were amazing) the pool is nice, always clean. It was a good value, but I have to say, the food here is terrible, and I say this because we stayed here 8 months ago and I thought the food was decent. Honestly, everything was so bad, on the brink of inedible. And the drinks were awful also. It's hard to mess up strawberry daiquiri, but seriously it was all bad. Sorry to say, I will not be staying here again, but only because of the food and drink, everything else was pretty great.

The property was nice, the outdoor areas looked great. Food choices and drinks were great and a good variety. Staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The activities they had at the resort were nice. The room was nice with air conditioning. The pool area was great. We did notice the bed was a bit hard as we prefer something softer. We also noticed some of the outdoor mirrors were a bit dirty. Overall the price was excellent for the package we got and recommended this resort for those looking for an affordable price.

Dead cockroaches in the room that cleaning crew left for multiple days. They allow you one bottle of water per day, if you ask for it. The food was 3/10 Staff was wonderful and check in was easy, however we requested a king size and only got 2 full size beds. I might stay here again, but I doubt it.
