I needed a place to stay in Merced at short notice and I was able to book here and front desk staff were really helpful, 2 negatives were the breakfast menu didn’t have gluten free options, which didn’t suit me personally, and the noise of the freeway traffic and freight trains about 50 yards away was the hotel, apart from that rooms have everything you need especially fridge, ceiling fan and air conditioner for the hot weather

Rooms were very clean. My only complaint was no coffee on second day and the ice machine was not working. Otherwise it was very nice. Definitely would stay again. I’ve already recommended it to family members who visit the area often.

We had a room upstairs. Inside the room we had 3 beds. Which worked out for us because we had 4 people. We didn’t get to use the pool but it goes to 8 feet. There is a nice swing to sit on. We would reserve here again. It was quite also even being close to the freeway.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The room was dated, with a rusty sink and an old room A/C unit tucked into the back of the closet in the rear of the room. It relied on a supplemental ceiling fan to help circulate the cooling into the living area. Noise deadening was poor. There was a lot of road noise from the nearby CA99. The complimentary breakfast was not set up by 7:00 a.m.
