The property itself was lovely, natural stone throughout, giant floor to ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light. Felt privacy with tall/mature greenery and strategic fencing and window placement. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to restaurants shops and city attractions. We had our family Thanksgiving (4 adults 2 teens) and found the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub multiple nights. We had some issues with the master shower having no water available. We texted the host and were told it was slated to be repaired after the holiday weekend. Solution was to use shower in nearby bedroom. BTW, each bedroom had its own bathroom. The walk-in gate at the front of the property was missing a handle, so not useable. Entered and exited via the car gate. One non-operational blind in the downstairs bedroom, so it stayed open the whole time. Fortunately the property is very private, so felt okay leaving it open; it looks out to the pool/Jacuzzi area. There are a ton of remotes to operate the drapes, blinds, and TV. We highly recommend the host label the remotes. We counted 20 different remotes and previous guests had placed them in wrong rooms. In addition, there was a ipod with two main apps to control other house features. Host texted a couple of videos to explain how to use the apps. The host was responsive when we reached out to him AND he was very flexible about our checkin and checkout times.

Loved the house although the neighbors aren’t very friendly one threatened to call the police just as I was trying to check and then about 4 hours later one neighbor just walked into the house unannounced but David is a really good host loved his fast communication

Lovely spacious clean house in a quiet neighborhood located in the middle of all the good stuff-hiking, shopping, dining. A few housekeeping/ appliance glitches that will be addressed. David was a great responsive host. I would stay here again for sure.

The front door wouldn’t stop buzzing all night so there was a loud noise that wouldn’t turn off. The hot tub and pool were broken all weekend, really the main reason we booked this house. We were planning on hanging Monday morning and relaxing in the hot tub and pool before we left, but we couldn’t, so we left early in the morning instead of enjoying our last day. We couldn't use either all weekend.I would not have booked this house, if I knew the pool and hot tub were going to be broken, that the owner would be out of state and would not help us fix it because his pool guy wouldn’t respond to him. You can see from all the text messages of him, admitting all the things that were broken, including, but not limitation to, the pool, the hot tub, the showers did not drain, the shower head shot upwards and sideways, making a mess everywhere, the TV in the living room didn’t work, The grill didn’t work and was falling out of its place, the shades would not open, the remotes for the shades were either broken or missing, we couldn’t open the doors to the last bedroom on the ground floor, we had to manually force open the gate so that we could drive in and out every time, the front door gate buzzing all night and not turning off, having no hot water because the water heater was turned off, none of the monitors in the house worked as you can see in the pictures the monitor in the shower and the lights monitor in the bedroom were broken. I have photo and video evidence of everything.

Great location

The house is in a great location. You can walk to lots of things and it is a nice quiet residential neighborhood. The house is nice and was very clean but it needs some sprucing up and attention to maintenance details. We had a small glitch getting in but the property owner was readily available by text and phone and sent someone over to help us get in.

Great House

House was wonderful, there’s were a few issues. Once you turn the heater off on pool, it doesn’t warm back up even though it says it’s heating, the jacuzzi never got hot and we followed the instructions. We wasn’t able to watch cable on TV kept saying no connection (but it really wasn’t needed) His property manager need to take care of the house more. The driveway gate don’t work you have to manually open it there’s cobwebs everywhere outside the property and outside on windows there’s no windows covering in the downstairs. All in all it was a very nice place and inside clean.

Good for parties, not for families

This is a good choice if you are looking for a big house to throw a party in. It looks impressive at first glance, but is kind of sparsely furnished and many things are just a little bit broken. This makes it a bad choice if you are looking for a comfortable place to actually live for a week.

Gorgeous house with some rough edges

We stayed from Tuesday to Friday of Thanksgiving week. The house is just like in the pictures. But be forewarned; if you plan to cook to entertain, the kitchen is indeed gourmet but certain basics like spices, olive oil, mixing bowls, pyrex, and oven mitts are not in the house. There is no toaster or toaster oven and the built in coffee maker did not come with instructions. Our major complaint was no instruction booklet like we've had in almost every other rental home. I've written to David about these shortcomings and other amenities/necessities like towel racks in the bathroom so maybe these issues will be resolved by the time you rent the house. David was very nice when we had questions and sent me some videos explaining some of the high tech features but being able to read an instruction manual would have been great.
