The place itself was super clean outside was atrocious. Homeless and it felt unsafe. There was a homeless camp outside of our window.

Great place!!!

Excellent hotel within walking distance of Venice Beach. The rooms were amazing; recently remodeled and very modern. They provided housekeeping even without having to put in a request. My only forewarning: they unexpectedly charge $15 per day to park on the property; I was informed of this when checking in. However, when I told them that this was not advertised on Hotels.com, the gentleman at the front counter waived the parking fee since I was only staying two days, which was very kind. All in all, excellent stay! I will definitely be returning!

Room is ok but there are cockroaches. My mom is sleeping on the sofa bed and baby cockroach is crawling on the sheets. I felt its not safe to stay so had to leave day early than my planned check out. Homeless early in the morning. At night, you can hear loud door every time someone comes in. If you want a place for a night, guess its ok. But if you have kids, find somewhere.

It was great

The room was clean, everything was upgraded including the bathroom, the floors, the furniture, even nice art work on the walls. The bed was super comfortable. I especially liked all the extra shelves and wall hooks to simply unpack and place things. Even the refrigerator had a separate freezer section, which is unusual for a hotel fridge, but I use if for ice packs. I feel like they really went the extra mile to make the room very nice. As a solo female traveling for work, safety is very important, so I appreciated the gated underground parking on site. The neighborhood outside of the hotel has lots of "character", to put it politely, which is not under the control of the hotel, but it's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I never felt unsafe and I would definitely stay there again. Thanks to the woman who checked me in, she was very nice and informative.

Big clean room with comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Venice Beach. There is a convenience store and laundromat within 200 metres. Restaurants and bars nearby.

It was a great central location to everything. Underground parking, spacious rooms(suite) for my family of 6. Of course there are homeless ppl hanging around, but then again, you’re in LA. I recommend this property.
