This is a lovely cottage for couples or small families. Matthew made us very welcome and was a friendly and informative host. Cottage was warm with central heating and excellent hot water. Views are wonderful and apart from the occasional tractor the area is quiet and beautiful.

Location very quiet and rural. The roads are narrow to access the property, but there are plenty of passing places, we had no issues driving in and out.Spacious lounge and bedroom.Compact kitchen, a little dated. Shower/Toilet small. It was ideal for us exploring the coast path from Polruan to Rame head

Ideal cottage in an ideal location

My husband and I stayed at Matthew's cottage for a little over two weeks and it was perfect! Very comfortable rooms, good kitchen (we made our own dinner on a few occasions), dishwasher, washing machine...most of the comforts of home but in an idyllic location of rolling hills and hidden coves. Close to great seaside towns and beautiful hiking by paths. We miss it and can't recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful quiet Place to stay

We stayed one week. The house has a quiet calm Location with a lovely view into the land. Kitchen and bathroom are ok. The mattresses are a bit to soft for two elder ladies like us. Matthew was a very friendly and helpful host.
