Poor value for money (lovely staff).

Unfortunately, this hotel didn't live up to expectations on any front. The staff were lovely, that's the only positive. The room was tiny, and the bed not wonderfully comfortable. the room service food was really quite poor and lacked the key ingredients in the dish.

Much enjoyed it. Great place. Fabulous location. Chic. the only thing that could be improved is that the breakfast room in the basement is rather pokey and dark. The good news is that you don’t need to go there, they can bring you breakfast in the bar area on the left as you walk in, which is far nicer!

I would like to make a few suggestions to improve on theEgerton - but wait, I have none!!! The upgrades are clearly worthy. We are, and will be, repeat guests. The Egerton is discreetly and strategically placed in a quiet, pleasant walking neighborhood but steps away from the hubbub of busy streets. The staff are without exception competent and so very pleasant. Also, your clientele have all been so nice with whom to share pleasantries. The furnishings and fixtures are modern and of the highest quality. The beds and bedding are so refreshing after a hard day of ‘museum-ing’ and shopping. A special thank you to your interior designer, whose presence and tastes are warm but as formal as we expect. Thank you thank you thank you, Tom and Pam Roadley Siesta Key, Florida USA

Just finished our 5th stay at the Egerton. While this boutique hotel is beautiful, it’s the wonderful staff that keep us coming back. They are warm and always eager to share recommendations and make arrangements in order to make our stay memorable. We also love the location as it is on a quiet street and a short walk to South Kensington station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the V & A, which always has an interesting special exhibitions in addition to their permanent exhibits. The rooms are a uniquely decorated but are all beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. It is also a very quiet hotel so I know I’ll get a good nights sleep. I look forward to returning to the Egerton the next time I visit London.

From the day of booking our reservation the customer service was exceptional. In the weeks leading up to our arrival the staff continued to maintain contact and offer assistance in making reservations for our visit. The customer service continued throughout our visit. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Egerton House Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially when it came to navigating around London. Their local insights truly enriched our visit! However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the honesty of the housekeeping team. On our first night, my husband and I inadvertently left our credit cards and other valuables out on the table while the room was being cleaned. To our astonishment, when we returned, everything was exactly as we had left it—nothing was missing! This level of integrity is a testament to the hotel’s values and made us feel incredibly safe and secure during our stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with genuine care for their guests, Egerton House Hotel is the perfect choice. We left with our hearts full and memories to cherish. This property is located in a great area of London (Kensington) in a posh neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options as well as located close to great museums. Although the rooms are small, they are comfortable. The public spaces are great and the staff is wonderful. Our only recommendation is to configure the bathrooms to more convenient for placing personal items, including a spot to hang up wet towels.
