Avoid at all costs, a total disappointment
The afternoon prior to my stay I was called to state that the room I had booked was not available due to unforeseen circumstances but could have a room in the sister hotel (Morgan hotel)down the road which was of the same standard.
This was a very poor standard. For a room that was already paid for I was challenged that I had not paid yet in a not so friendly manner.
On eventually getting to our room it was tiny, smelled damp, had wallpaper falling off the walls, stains on the carpet and the hotel in general didn't look like it had been refurbished since the 70s.
The bed was very soft like it
had needed replaced for a long time.
The bathroom floor was really wet when we arrived and would not dry in the cold environment.
There was a lack of sound proofing here as we could clearly hear in the middle of the night what was going on in the rooms around us.
We had breakfast which was also very disappointing.Toast was served which wasn't much more than warm bread with no colour to it and all of the fruit was bruised and past it's best.
If these two hotels are of the same standard I will never stay in either again and cannot recommend any one else does.
