Lovely stay

Lovely hotel located half way between Mirmare Castle and central Trieste, 5 mins from the waterfront, good bus service outside. Very quaint and old fashioned but perfectly functional and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable. They provide rice crackers at breakfast, as an alternative to bread (useful if you are gluten free) Staff were friendly and helpful. Windows were double glazed in our 2nd floor room, so no problems with traffic noise. Free Wifi was ok for social media etc.

In need of a makeover

The hotel does not deserve its 5* status, maybe 50 years ago but is now rather tired and in need of a reconstruction. Could easily be restored to grandeur.

Nice hotel on a busy road not far from the beach

Slightly old fashioned. There was no swimming pool as was mentioned in the add. Breakfast good due to great view of sea.

Good quality hotel starting to show its age

Have stayed here many times over a 20yr period. It is now getting to an age when a more general refurbishment is probably required. Staff are efficient and service excellent. Position means rooms at the front are subject to some road noise particularly if window open for ventilation. Pool times often restricted due to group classes often running at peak times. Location somewhat out of town, but long promenade along coast close by and reasonable car parking. Generally excellent restaurant spoilt on last visit by suspected food problem causing sickness. Wifi poor connection again points to need for major update.

Very Pleasant

Really enjoyed this hotel. A little out of town but 1.25 Euros for the 5 min journey. Lots of dining options just up the road. Would stay again!

Nice building with sea-view and intense traffic on one side and a huge building-site a few meters from the other. Large, beautiful rooms and comfortable beds, but not five-star quality. Excellent breakfast in the top-floor restaurant with terrace.

Gutes Haus an der Hauptstraße

Sehr gutes Hotel. Gästeparkplatz gratis. Freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Großes Zimmer mit konservativer Einrichtung. Unser Zimmer lag an der stark befahrenen Haquptstraße und die Fenster wurden in der Nacht mit Scheinwerfern angestrahlt. Das Stadtzentrum von Triest ist mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Der günstige Preis zu Weihnachten ließ uns die kleinen Nachteile vergessen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Danke!

bra opphold på et fint hotell. Fin by. de ansatte kunne bra engelsk. Bra mulighet for parkering bak hotellet. Sentralt , rett i utkant av byen. Wifi tilkobling var dårlig på rommet, men fungerte bra i resepsjonen.

Un albergo di ottimo livello a 5 minuti dal centro

Abbiamo prenotato questo albergo che non è in centro poichè le disponibilità di camere negli hotel del centro era scarsa ed i prezzi elevati. L'albergo è curato, elegante, comodo parcheggio gratuito, camere ampie, pulizia ottima. Una menzione particolare alla prima colazione servita nel locale all'ultimo piano con terrazza e vista mare impagabile; solo il caffé non era all'altezza. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo.

Godt værelse med aircon og udsigt til havet. God morgenmad. Udsigt over havet fra restauranten. Ingen vand i den indendørs swimming pool, men ok fitness rum. Meget trafik ved hotellet, god lydisolation.
