There were many frustrations related to the condition of this property. We stayed for three nights. We had at least one (sometimes two) maintenance person(s) at the cabin each day of our stay. The air conditioner was not cooling the house (two maintenance visits) – this was fixed for the last night of our stay. We saw multiple mice inside the cabin, especially in the kitchen around our food. The front door lock was out of batteries, and we could not secure the house when we left (another maintenance visit). The kitchen did not have the supplies we were told it would have (another maintenance visit to deliver supplies). The property was under significant renovation. There were boxes stashed all over the deck and property. A portion of the cabin was blocked off due to renovations. The rooms did not match the pictures–for example, the basement was shown with 2 couches and a TV. The basement had 0 couches and no TV. Where two overhead lights should have been in the kitchen there were instead exposed wires hanging from the ceiling. We moved lamps into the kitchen and cooked with a headlamp. The fuses in the house blew multiple times. There were loose outlets, outlets without covers and floor vents without covers. We had eight kids with us who swam every day. Within days of returning home, four of the eight kids developed ear infections. The pool had no odor of chlorine. This property has the potential to be nice, but in its current state it should not be rented.
