Experience and History in a great loction

Incredible experience from start to finish. Check in was quick and full service with a short introduction to all the in room features. The property itself is steeped in history and information provided within the room to help with enjoying the site. Dinning was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and wine to suit every dish. Location is in a prime spot in the city. Close to many city attractions and during out stay there was an active festival across the way. Hotel arranged for transportation to and from the airport. Only glitch in our stay was a missed booking, however the front desk recovered quickly and we were on time for our arrival at the airport.

It is really a palace with four inch thick doors 12 foot wide staircases and soaring ceilings. The courtyard is magazine worthy and you'll never hear a sound due to two foot thick walls and solid stone floors. The room amenities are complete, anything you can think of they have it checked off. I have travelled the world, I can't think of a kinder staff.

Great 5 star hotel in the very busy and popular Bairro Alto. Our junior suite was quiet, but dark and at the back of the hotel with absolutely zero view. That was disappointing for $750 per night.

The hotel and staff were lovely. We especially appreciated the truffles and wine left every night with the turn down service. The on site restaurant and bar were very good as was the breakfast buffet. The staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants nearby as well. The hotel is very nicely situated to see the sights in Lisbon. Would definitely stay again.
