Awesome location between train station and the main part of town. Could walk anywhere from the location. Spacious rooms were great. Coffee machine was a bonus. They were doing some maintenance which meant some waiting at the lifts. They weren’t keen to change towels and rooms weren’t cleaned due to requiring a minimum stay for that ( which was obviously above 4 night stays )

The hotel was a sweat box! The limited window ventilation and enormous west facing windows kept our room at no less than 87°F every single day. (I happened to have a thermometer for my medication packaging). We left a day early due to the extreme conditions , but were charged the full amount. No compensation for enduring 4 days and nights of 87-92 degree temps inside our room. No offer to move us to another room. While they were preparing for AC units to be installed, I would not go back as the likelihood they could combat the sun’s radiant heat is doubtful.

It’s good overall but there’s a lot of mosquito in the room which gave me quite a few bites all over the body. The room is really hot during the time of my visit so had to open window but its really nosy due to the location so wasn’t able to sleep well at all.

Good stay at Citadines! Very central, room is quite big and has got all the ameneties. The only minus is the mattress which is quite old as you can fell the springs.

Great Location

This was in a great location next to Euralille Shopping Centre. The two main train stations are a short walk away. The property was very spacious, not at all cramped and made the stay relaxing. The property was a bit dated and what you would expect in a 3 star. We felt safe due to the high volume of people around in the very busy transport hub. The Main Square was just 10 minutes away on foot.

Comfortable and convenient

Spacious rooms with a small kitchenette, ideally located next to 2 train stations and a Westfield shopping mall. Would've preferred to have A/C but was provided with a fan which helped at night. Overall really reasonable and a brilliant place to stay while exploring Lille

Family stay

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. There was work being carried out on the roof so there was protective boarding inside the lift but this was clearly explained on a sign. The in site parking is a plus, but the access is very narrow via the underground tunnel. And when they say the door closes quickly they mean it! The fact the apartment had a kitchen with dishwasher was great. The hotel is ideally located above the Westfield shopping centre, and perfect walking distance to the city centre squares & restaurants.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The only so-called advantage is its proximity to the train station. However, if you’re not using the train, the location is not great—there’s little to do in the area, and the nearby restaurants are not worth visiting. The property itself is severely outdated. My room had a leaking issue, and to make matters worse, the heating is no use due to the bad insulation, making my stay very uncomfortable. When I asked to change rooms, the staff outright refused, claiming the hotel was fully booked. However, when I checked online, I immediately saw availability for the exact same type of room I was staying in! This proves that the staff was lying and simply didn’t want to accommodate the request. The service was just as bad as the condition of the hotel. The staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to solve any issues. Rather than taking responsibility, they made excuses and acted as if guest comfort wasn’t their concern. Overall, this hotel is not worth the money. The only thing you’re really paying for is being near the train station—but if you don’t need the train, that benefit is meaningless. With outdated rooms, poor service, and dishonest staff, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better options available for the same price or even less.

Comfort and great location. However, there is room for improvement for the hotel luggage storage system. If a tagging or system is implement, it should be consistent and communicate amongst the member of staff, to avoid any confusion or loss of luggage.

Fine for the price

I was maybe expecting a bit more. There was nothing terribly wrong with the place. It was clean and the staff were good. The location was perfect and we were on a high floor with an amazing view. The hot water took about 5 minutes to warm up for a shower. I had asked for my sheets to be changed after a few days but they said there was no housekeeping staff in that day which I found odd. It was fine to not have them changed. Just odd that there were days without housekeeping in site. It was also quite awkward to have a toilet behind the kitchen and the main bath and sink through 3 doors on the other side of the space.
