Just a one night stay but was better than we expected. The rooms are well presented and we could not ask for anything more. Food in the bar was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the fish & chips! Breakfast was great with a wide range of nuts and dried fruit to add to a wide range of cereals and the choices of cooked breakfast were very tempting.
Fresh clean and comfortable. Landlady was friendly and helpful. Place looked new and yet the business was 7 years old. Lovely choice of drinks and good food and wine!
Twin room was perfect for our overnight stay & a great hearty breakfast!

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities great. The only downside was it was noisy from traffic on the nearby road at times during the night, and at one stage a vehicle very close to the room had it engine running for about five minutes, and at the time it wasn’t even daylight.
We had dinner in the evening which was first class, and the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional.
