Historic building close to Leksand

We enjoyed our stay here - the building is lovely and historic, just outside town. As we arrived after 6pm check in was closed but the details were left on the desk. Breakfast was good, although the restaurant was closed in the evening. Paying was quite problematic if you don't have a Swedish bank account - had to transfer the balance on returning home!

Strange place

No staff on site at all. Had to phone to get let in. No restaurant or bar open. Could not find room. No info in English. Good breakfast though.

Jag bodde pÄ hotellet i en natt och blev tyvÀrr mycket besviken. Redan vid incheckningen mÀrkte jag att tvn inte funkade, obemannad reception dÄ ringde och en kock skickades att reparera tvn! Till sist fick jag byta rum till ett annat rum med fungerande tv. DÄlig sÀng, varje gÄng man vÀnde pÄ sig det lÀt i hela hotellet...tur att Frukosten var Ànnu en besvikelse. Buffén var dÄligt pÄfylld redan en timme efter öppning, de flesta fat gapade tomma och personalen hann inte fylla pÄ. Det fanns kalla Àgg, blöta pannkakor och gammalt bröd. Kaffet smakade brÀnt och det fanns knappt nÄgra rena bestick. För att vara ett hotell i den hÀr prisklassen förvÀntar man sig betydligt bÀttre standard och hygien. TyvÀrr kommer vi inte tillbaka.
