We stayed for a glorious week and could so happily have stayed longer (years according to my partner). The flow and feel of the property is lovely, it had everything we needed.Valerie is a star and was so helpful and accommodating and helped with recommendations throughout.Views are stunning

A lovely house which has it all

Valerie is a wonderful host, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is what we expected and the photographs accurately represent this wonderful house. We were there for 2 weeks in June and would have happily stayed on longer. The property is ideally suited to take advantage of the local amenities: The Boulangerie, food shops, pharmacy, gift shops and the traditional oyster restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The property is extremely comfortable and everything we could have wanted, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge and dining area are a good size. There is also an outside dining area which has fantastic views over the Arcachon Bassin, a great place to gather and relax. The pool is a good size and gets a lot of sun and was well used by us. There is a lovely homely feel and we always looked forward to returning from our local adventures. We also hired bikes and took advantage of the cycle paths which are only a few minutes away. We really loved this place and can’t wait to return. Can not recommend it more highly. 5 stars from us. Jane/David & Friends.

Wonderful holiday

A warm welcome from Valerie and a fabulous setting with great views over the Arcachon Bassin. Location perfect in Le Canon for cycling, walking, access to beaches and Arcachon. 2 minute walk to mini market, bakery and fresh seafood...We also enjoyed local Italian restaurant and recommend takeaway platter of oysters to enjoy on the fabulous verandah.

Amazing host, amazing property, amazing view

We recently stayed at Valerie's property for two weeks. We could not have asked for a better place to stay! From the very beginning, Valerie greeted us very warmly and made us feel right at home. The home is beautiful, very functional, and relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. The pool was heated! Very relaxing outdoor atmosphere and very family-friendly. If it could not get any better, there was also a fantastic view and in a prime location close to shops, restaurants, and more! Overall, my family could not have been happier with our stay and are excited to return for more!

A lovely house in the best spot in Cap Ferret

We had a lovely stay, in spite of some pretty awful weather. The house was just perfect for our family of 6. The pool was actually heated, as promised (which in our experience often doesn’t happen!), so was well-used in spite of the unseasonal rain. The house has a super vibe, is well-equipped & furnished, has good wifi, and is in the perfect location - Le Canon is lovely & has everything you need. We rented (electric!) bikes from Zen Velos which were delivered to the house - highly recommend this company too. 5 mins bike ride to the Truc Vert - we even popped over to the beach for an amazing sunset after dinner at “home” one night. Valerie is professional & friendly to deal with and speaks excellent English. In short, we won’t be staying anywhere else in Cap Ferret from now on. Fab place.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt am Cap Ferret

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, der schöner nicht sein konnte. Es hat alles hervorragend gepasst: die Kommunikation mit Valerie war super easy und immer sehr nett, zuverlÀssig und verbindlich. Das Haus ist genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Die Einrichtung, die Aussicht von der Terrasse und auch die Lage des Hauses sind wirklich top. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Magnifique location

La vue sur le Bassin d'Arcachon est incroyable! C'est comme un tableau dont les teintes Ă©voluent au fil des heures. On ne s'en lasse pas. Cette maison est trĂšs confortable et au calme, Ă  l'abri de toutes nuisances. Tous les commerces sont Ă  2 minutes Ă  pied. Nous reviendrons !

Excellent séjour au Cap Ferret

Excellent sĂ©jour au Cap-Ferret, pour les vacances de la Toussaint. La maison est comme le laissaient espĂ©rer les photos de l’annonce. Elle est trĂšs bien situĂ©e dans le village du Canon, Ă  quelques pas des premiers commerces. Elle est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e pour un sĂ©jour en famille. Superbe vue sur le bassin, surtout quand le soleil s’y reflĂšte. Nos Ă©changes avec la propriĂ©taire ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs fluides du dĂ©but jusqu’à la fin. À refaire au plus vite!

Ein wundervolles Haus mit Ausblick

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem Haus. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern (im Beach-Style) und lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen. Toller Blick von der Terrasse auf das Bassin d'Arcachon. Der Pool war noch beheizt, hervorragend. FußlĂ€ufig sind BĂ€cker, Supermarkt, Restaurants etc. erreichbar, das Auto kann man getrost stehen lassen. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

trés bien situé

Nous avons passé un trÚs agréable moment dans cette région. La maison possÚde 4 belles chambres et un salon grand et trÚs lumineux, tous les ustensiles sont présents pour cuisiner et profiter de l'intérieur (grande table) . La maison est parfaitement située, proche des commerces à pied et des pistes cyclables pour aller visiter les autres coins du Cap Ferret en vélo (parking à vélo dans le jardin). Le bassin d'Arcachon est à 2mn à pied et la maison donne une magnifique vue sur le bassin, trÚs agréable en fin de journée. L'océan et les grandes plages sont également accessibles à pied en famille. L'accueil a été chaleureux et parfait pour nous. Nous recommandons cette maison.

Agréable séjour au cap ferret

Nous avons pu profiter de la magnifique maison de Veronique qui nous a rĂ©servĂ© un excellent accueil avec son conjoint. La situation de la maison est idĂ©ale Ă  proximitĂ© des commerces et en retrait de la voie principale. La vue sur le bassin depuis la terrasse est splendide. Les chambres sont confortables et bien amĂ©nagĂ©es. Il y a deux salle de bain et deux wc. Nous Ă©tions quatre adultes et deux enfants. La maison est trĂšs fonctionnelle et bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner. Nous avons utilisĂ© la bbq Ă  disposition et le poĂȘle fut agrĂ©able en cette saison. Une bibliothĂšque bien garnie ravira les petits comme les grands. Nous avons bĂ©nĂ©ficiĂ© d’un temps magnifique. Il paraĂźtrait que c’est toujours ainsi :) Le bassin est Ă  2 mn avec la joli village des pĂȘcheurs d’huĂźtres. On peut faire ses courses Ă  proximitĂ© trĂšs facilement. Il y a aussi un Super U Ă  10 mn. Je recommande !

Tolles Haus in super Lage

Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hauses, die Sitzgelegenheiten und der Pool sind super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.
