Excellent choice for families with young children

We chose this property because we wanted a secure pool area for our children of 1 and 4, and it did not disappoint. Indeed the pool is heated to 32C rather than the standard 29C to cater for toddlers. Another plus is the provision of a range of very usable bikes, to take advantage of the miles of cycle tracks in the area. The owners live close by, and communicated with us well to ensure that we had the right sized beds for the children in the right rooms. There is no air-con but the villa is well insulated enough to stay cool in all but extreme heat; one night we had to buy a fan for the baby's room when it had been 38C in the day. The owner reimbursed us and we left it in the villa. The owner asked for a 500 euro damage deposit on arrival; this was returned with no quibble at the end of our stay. Overall, we would come here again very happily. The owners are grandparents and have made a real effort to create a child-friendly environment.

Perfect Villa for a wonderful family holidsy

The villa was exactly as shown in photos, beautifully clean and well equipped plus the beds are very comfortable! We were 4 adults and 2 children and we all loved it. The heated pool was absolutely lovely. The covered outside dining and seating area is perfect for a bit of shade. The owners greated us on arrival , showed us around and left us to our holiday. We had a fault with the electric garage door which was fixed the same day. The village of Lege is a short cycle ride away and there are lots of places to visit and perfect beaches only a 15 minute drive (or slightly longer cycle) . Overall a great holiday!

The villa was clean and well presented. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We spent two, very happy, weeks at the villa. The owners were attentive; the villa and pool were clean; and, the layout of the property was excellent. The cycle paths, many of which went through the pine forests, had practically no hills and made for a very good cycling holiday (we had brought four of our own bikes with us, together with a fold-up bike trailer for transporting body-boards, beach equipment, etc.). Cycling to and from the Southern point of Cap-Ferret was a challenge for our youngest (6 years), but was preferable to travelling by car in slow-moving August holiday traffic. The various markets in the area were well worth visiting, as was Dune du Pyla (leave early morning to avoid the traffic), and the delightful oyster farm village of l'Herbe with the excellent restaurant, Hôtel de la Plage.

Very lovely refuge with pool

Very nice house. very thoughtfully and accommodatingly equipped. Lovely pool and very effectively secured if you have small children. nice setting next to the forest and very friendly hosts. One bedroom occasionally gets a bit of noise and smell from the machinery behind the wall in the garage (central heating for house and pool).

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison bleue de Lège-Cap-Ferret ! La villa est très agréable, au calme en lisière d'une pinède. L'agencement de la maison est très pratique avec les 4 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Tout est bien organisé et l'accueil de Norbert et Agnès a été parfait !

Tout s’est très bien passé dans la villa bleue. Conforme à l’annonce et même plus ! Avons apprécié la propreté globale et la décoration qui nous a mis dans une ambiance de vacances et d’apaisement. Calme absolu en bordure de forêt de pins. Comptez 20-30 minutes pour les plages de l’océan sans circulation et 10 minutes du bassin.

Vacances aoûtiennes entre amis

La villa bleue est située dans une propriété privée paisible. Elle est parfaitement agencée pour accueillir une grande famille avec enfants mais aussi un groupe d'amis (c'était notre cas). La maison est très propre, bien équipée. L'agencement extérieur (piscine, terrasse ombragée) est idéal pour tous les moments de convivialité de la journée. La situation de la maison offre de multiples possibilités de sorties vers le bassin d'Arcachon ou l'océan.

Très belle maison

Nous avons passé, en famille, trois semaines formidables du 28 juillet au 20 août 2018. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Elle est très fonctionnelle et tout est pensé dans les moindres détails pour vous accueillir au mieux. Nous avons pris quasiment tous nos repas sous la tonnelle face à la piscine, en famille où avec des amis. C'était vraiment sublime. Nous avons pu faire de longues parties de ping-pong. Nous avons abusé des vélos car la maison est à quelques mètres de la piste cyclable à partir de laquelle vous pouvez aller à la plage, au marché, à Lacanau et jusqu'à Arcachon si cela vous tente. Nous avons également bien dormi car c'est un havre de paix. Les propriétaires sont des personnes vraiment charmantes. Bref nous sommes au moins 6 de plus à vous recommander vivement la maison bleue.

Nous avons passé deux belles semaines début juillet dans cette villa vraiment hyper confortable. Tout a commencé par un accueil charmant des propriétaires, cette villa est très bien décorée, la piscine parfaitement sécurisée pour les enfants et un petit plus avec la table de Ping pong ainsi que des vélos en bon état. Autre point important, les sommiers étaient de qualités, les pistes cyclables sont juste derrière la maison et permettent de se rendre en toute sécurité sur les plages du bassin ou océan proche. Vraiment une location qui vaut le détour lorsque vous vous rendez dans cette belle région, la seule chose que je changerais serait le BBQ, un système au gaz serait plus confortable. Encore un grand merci à Mr Arabi pour ces belles vacances, nous reviendrons certainement un jour.
