Inspired by the palette of the surrounding nature's colours, villa Meliti offers the harmony and serenity of the countryside. The ground floor hosts a spacious living room with fireplace and double sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom with bathroom. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where the second bedroom and bathroom can be found. The views of the small green 'princes islands' including the Greek tycoon's Onassis island named Scorpios are simply unique!

The villa is located next to nature, just above the seafront village of Perigiali (500 m), hence enjoying these dramatic seaviews! Although extra effort will be needed walking uphill to reach the villa on the way back from the beach, the closest beach is just a 10-min walk downhill. The villa is conveniently enjoying total privacy and quiet, yet it is so close (only 1km) to all watersport, restaurant, shops and conveniences of cosmopolitan Nydri. Car hire essential.

Best villa we have stayed in! Can not fault at all from the very kind and helpful Lydia to the most amazing views from the villa to the beautiful pool and well equiped villa, not forgetting the beautiful welcome basket, so thoughtful. Lefkada is a beautiful island with many things to see and do and lots of great restaurants. Absolutely loved!

March stay in Villa Meliti

The villa is situated at the end of a 400m very steep single track "road" that is not for the faint hearted. This is typical of villas on hillsides in Lefkada that have spectacular views like this one. The property was impeccably clean and the host really nice. As it was a cool March, logs and electric radiators were provided. The food parcel provided for our arrival was by far the best we've ever had in all the years of staying with Vrbo properies with wine, milk , water (6 bottles), beer, butter, coffee, cake, mini croissants, toast, butter and lots of fruit. Unfortunately direct access to Perigaili beach is now nearly impossible due to new beach side properties. There are also no tavernas or supermarkets within easy walking distance. A car is a must but once stocked up chilling by the pool is all one needs. The gardens like the villa are impeccably maintained with 5 separate areas to relax and wind down.

Villa with a view

Amazing views of the islands in the Ionian Sea. Warm welcome from Lydia, a fridge and bread basket full of provisions. Great pool, loungers and parasols, lovely swing chair to sit in and admire the view. Only down side to being able to look down at the view is the steep hill, which was quite a walk down and needed a taxi back up!

What a fantastic villa! We have stayed in a number of villas over the years in both Greece & Spain but Villa Meliti is by far the best we have stayed in. The view, what a view, from every room, from the pool, from the BBQ area, simply stunning. It really is better than the pictures. The walk down to Nydri is steep but its about 15 mins but Nidri doesnt disappoint. The shops, the beach, the restaurants. What a fabulous place to stay, we really thought about not leaving a review as we don't want people to find this but this place is special. Thank you Lydia, we will 100% be back.

An incredible holiday

The villa is really lovely. A great size and immaculate (cleaned regularly). The views are just stunning, absolutely wonderful to look out to the islands every day. The pool is fantastic and it’s so relaxing being at the villa and looking out to sea. We felt lucky every day. Lydia was so welcoming. We had a great welcome basket of food so could spend the first day by the pool before getting food for our stay. Really easy to get restaurant deliveries. We also walked into town and would get a taxi back. Great beach clubs where you can book beds (food fantastic) at the sail inn and pinewood at the bottom of the hill. Advisable to have a car if you want to explore. We had an incredible holiday and Meliti is a really special place. We stayed for two weeks and we were all so sad to leave. We will never forget it. A big thank you to Lydia and your team!

Lovely villa with pool and fantastic views.

Communication between us and Lydia/Elena really good, thank you! Lydia there to meet us on arrival and show us around the villa and make recommendations of where to visit. Wonderful welcome basket provided with supplies of milk, juice, wine, eggs and water in the fridge. Villa and pool really clean and well designed. Pool and villa cleaned during the week too. Lefkada is a beautiful island with amazing blue seas. We'll be back!

Spectacular view and lovely, comfortable villa.

The property is just as outlined in the various pictures but the view really is amazing to wake to every day. The property is comfortable and had everything you would need. There was even a table tennis table which we weren't expecting which was a bonus! But the pool and the view really are superb. A view never to tire of. And the pool and garden are completely private; not overlooked by the nearby villas. It is up a steep hill but to be honest, we walked down to Nidri every day and got a taxi back - no problem, and got some exercise in on the way. Nidri has a good buzzy atmosphere with lots of bars and restaurants but not too busy. I must also say that Lydia was a fantastic host; what ever we needed, she assisted us with and was particularly helpful on our last day when we had a late flight and needed to store cases and organise a taxi to the airport. Really fantastic host - thank you Lydia :-) I would recommend this property to anyone wanting peace and quiet, superb views in a comfortable villa but with nightlife nearby. I will definitely be back.

Simply the best...

This was our first visit to Lefkadas and we were overjoyed with the island, but more particularly with this property. It is uniquely situated overlooking the adjoining islands with amazing views which never fail to astonish. It's peace and tranquillity were just what we were looking for but equally a short trip into Nidri provides a complete change of atmosphere, with numerous bars and restaurants to suit every choice and pocket. I hesitate to recommend eating places because tastes differ, but for a really professional experience and good food, the Pinewood fits that bill-slightly more expensive than the average but well worthwhile. If it's octopus that does it for you, you would do no better than Bardis Tavern a friendly family-run eatery where you can watch them flame-grill your octopus. I have to single out the welcome we received from the owners of this villa-not only for the most wholesome welcome pack awaiting our arrival but for the cleanliness of the villa and the facilities which were first class. John-you are a star and all the help we received was very much appreciated both in the planning of our visit and during our stay. Jane and Clive

Lovely private villa. Wonderful views and very well equipped. The owner was helpful with information beforehand and her father John met us to take us to the villa. Felt at home straight away.. The steep drive to the villa is not for the faint hearted but it was worth it. Would be happy to return again which is not like us!
