Gerard and Marie gave us a very warm welcome. The property is wonderful, very clean, well looked after and provides everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The pools were fantastic and we had multiple seating areas for our own use. There are many places to visit in the area. We had a really enjoyable holiday and hope to return.

Amazing

We had a wonderful holiday and were made incredibly welcome by Marie and Gerard. From the moment that we arrived, they were both incredibly helpful and generous, helping with local advice and even bringing us a few treats!! The location is stunning, the pools are beautiful and the accommodation very comfortable. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a few minutes’ drive and likewise with supermarkets and an amazing boulangerie. A beautiful holiday with wonderful hosts in a stunning location.

A little slice of paradise

We had a fantastic stay here at Le Tignet, an area that has the best of all worlds - close to the sea as well as a beautiful mountain lake and provincial towns. Marie and Gerard were wonderful hosts and truly made the holiday an enjoyable one for us. They are both so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us with everything from some bites to eat the evening we arrived, great hiking tips and fantastic restaurant & sightseeing recommendations that we never would have found otherwise. The studio itself has lots of privacy and is well-equipped, including with a gas BBQ which we enjoyed using to cook our summer meals. Thank you both & we certainly hope to come back!

A piece of paradise

After a days travel Gerard and Marie were there to greet us. Not only that Marie had made us a delicious Provecal Tart and there was a bottle of wine in the fridge plus the makings of breakfast for the next morning. Wonderful hosts. Perfectly proportioned with impeccable hosts

We spent 4 nights at the apartment of Gerard & Marie at the end of May and could not recommend the accommodation or our hosts highly enough! We had the 2 bedrooms available which essentially gave us the whole ground floor at our disposal. The break started very well as we were delayed landing at Nice but Gerard and Marie stayed up until midnight to give us a very warm greeting. We were also greeted with a homemade Provençal tart, milk juice and many breakfast items so basically we had nothing to worry about the following morning - how wonderful! The accommodation is beautifully furnished in traditional style with all washing facilities and also benefits from luxuries such as private gas BBQ and even our own sauna! The pools are great as there is a shallow pool and a very deep one for big jumping! The other highlight is that there are little Windows into the pool from the sauna room which was great fun! With private gates security is established and we felt very safe. All in all we couldn't fault this stay, and we will be back!

Wir wurden herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen, Abends wurden wir mit einer provinzialischen Tarte, Salat und Wein überrascht.Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ebenso der Pool. Die Vermieter wohnen im oberen Teil des Hauses und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge.1 km entfernt befindet sich ein Lidl und ein paar Meter weiter ein Carrefour mit einer günstigen Tankstelle.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne mal wieder.

Super Ferienwohnung mit tollem Pool und sehr netten Gastgebern

Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet, extra-Raum mit Dusche und WC sehr praktisch für die Nutzung des Pools. Pool (Schwimmer - und Nichtschwimmerbecken) und Umgebung wurde täglich gereinigt, neue Handtücher/Bettwäsche nach einer Woche erhalten. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und diskret, zur Begrüßung erhielten wir eine Tarte provencale, Milch, Orangensaft, Marmelade und Joghurt für das erste Frühstück. Tolle Tipps der Gastgeber für Ausflüge. Insgesamt ein wundervoller Aufenthalt für die ganze Familie.

Traumhafte Location mit den besten Gastgebern

Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche bei Gerard und Marie. Eine mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit kuscheligen Handtüchern und guten Kissen. Wir wurden begrüßt mit einer köstlichen selbstgemachten Tarte de Provence und einem gekühlten Rosé. Wir wurden mit tollen Insider Tipps und regionalen Leckereien verwöhnt. Der Pool ist sensationell, nicht nur ein Spaß für die Kinder! Die Gastgeber waren dezent im Hintergrund, aber standen stets zur Verfügung wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Absolute Empfehlung.

toller Sommerurlaub in Südfrankreich

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Sommerurlaub. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Marie und Gerard empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir entspannten gern auf der Terrasse am Haus oder am herrlich großen Pool. Tolle Ferien in einer schönen Unterkunft

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern zu Gast. Uns hat es wirklich super gefallen. Das Appartement ist sehr gemütlich und der Pool ist mega. Ideal auch für Kinder durch die beiden unterschiedlichen Wassertiefen. Die Lage ist schön ruhig zum entspannen und Städte wie Cannes, Antibes und Nizza gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Marie und Gérard sind super Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönster Aufenthalt in der Provence

Schon der Empfang von Marie und Gérard war so außergewöhnlich - es gab eine sehr leckere Tarte nach provençalischer Art und dazu einen vortrefflichen Rosé aus der Region - besser geht es kaum. Das Appartement ist wirklich gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Betten sind bequem und alles sehr sauber hergerichtet. Die Küche ist bestens ausgerüstet so dass wir uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt haben. Nicht zu vergessen der Pool mit dem einmaligen Blick in die wunderschöne Umgebung unter anderem auf das Nachbardorf Cabris. Diese tolle und ruhige Lage haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Es waren unvergessliche Tage für uns - wir kommen bestimmt wieder, herzlichen Dank an Marie und Gérard

Sehr schön und erholsam, tolle Gastgeber!

Wir haben in der letzten Septemberhälfte 2022 zwei sehr erholsame und nicht mehr zu heiße, friedliche Wochen in Le Tignet verbracht. Die Gegend ist schön zum Laufen und der Strand nicht fern, wenn die Saison auch schon fast zuende war. So gab es aber auch keinen sommerlichen Trubel mehr, was wir sehr genossen haben. Das beste aber sind die wirklich tollen Gastgeber Marie und Gérard, die uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns fortwährend mit Tips und vor allem vielen Köstlichkeiten aus der eigenen Küche versorgt haben - wirklich großartig. Wer mit wenig Platz in den Ferien klarkommt und gerne draussen in einem schönen Garten ist, ist hier genau richtig. Merci à Marie et Gérard et à la prochaine.

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Unterkunft. Marie und Gerard waren auch wundervolle Gastgeber, die uns erstmal mit einer leckeren Tatar willkommen hießen. Ansonsten hielten sie sich diskret im Hintergrund, aber wir konnten sie auch jederzeit etwas fragen. Rundum ein toller Urlaub mit zwei Kids bei tollen Gastgebern. :-)

Perfekter Sommerurlaub

Wir haben zwei wunderbare und erholsame Urlaubswochen bei Gerard und Marie verbracht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten uns nach langer Anfahrt gleich bei Salat, Tarte und einem gekühlten Rosé stärken. Wir haben nichts vermisst und waren besonders vom Pool mehr als begeistert. Der Pool wurde bestens gepflegt, hatte teilweise eine Markise zur Verschattung und begeisterte mit einer Tiefe von 2,00 m und einem kleinen „Schaufenster“ sogar unseren Teenie. 😉 Es gibt außerdem eine Tischtennisplatte samt Zubehör, eine Boule-Bahn, einen Gasgrill und ein nützliches Mückenvernichtungsgerät. Le Tignet ist gut gelegen, in 15 Minuten ist man mit dem PKW in Grasse und in 25 Minuten in Cannes. Begeistert hat uns das kleine Dörfchen Cabris, welches man vom Garten aus sehen kann. Man kann dort sehr gut essen gehen (z. B. ausgezeichnete Muscheln im Mini-Groll), sollte aber unbedingt vorher reservieren. Für Kunstliebhaber ist das Foundation Maeght in St. Paul de Vence eine absolute Empfehlung. Wer die Anfahrt zur Gorge du Verdon (ca. 2 h) besuchen möchte, sollte sich vorher erkundigen, ob die Schlucht genügend Wasser führt, wir hatten in dem heissen Sommer 2022 leider Pech und konnten die Schlucht nicht befahren. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt und unsere faulen Tage am Pool sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft mehr als empfehlen. Au revoir et merci beaucoup Marie et Gerard!

Hübsche kleine Ferienwohnung mit großem Pool

Wir, meine Tochter (13) und ich verbrachten eine entspannte Woche in der Ferienwohnung von Gerard und Marie. Die beiden Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und fürsorglich und bereiteten uns einen herzlichen Empfang ( gefüllter Kühlschrank, Tarte und Salat). Für 2 Personen ist das Studio mit einem weiterem Zimmer und 2 Bädern (!) Ideal und gut ausgestattet. Der große Swimming- Pool und Aussenbereich mit verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegebereichen sind wunderschön und laden zum Entspannen ein. Le Tignet ist ein Ort - auf dem Weg nach Grasse - der sich über einen Berghang erstreckt.Lebensmittelgeschäfte und der nächste Ort Peymeinade sind am besten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Les vacances parfaites!

Tout était parfait! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez Gérard et Marie! Man fühlt sich bei den beiden sehr wohl und willkommen. Als wir ankamen, gab es eine super leckere provinzialische Tarte von Marie. Beide sind sehr aufmerksam, zugleich zurückhaltend, freundlich und herzlich! Sehr tolle Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und alles, was man braucht ist da. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Garten mit dem Pool läd zum Verweilen ein und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Einfach toll! Außerdem gibt es eine hervorragende Tischtennisplatte (+Zubehör). Wir haben großartige Tipps für Unternehmungen bekommen und Gerard hat uns 2 Mal mit zum Joggen genommen. So konnten wir sportlich die Gegend erkunden. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht, danke! Ansonsten hat das Appartement eine super Ausgangslage für Ausflüge an die Côte d‘Azur oder in das Landesinnere. Aber Achtung: Ein Auto ist dafür höchst empfehlenswert. Vorschläge für Ausflüge: Essen/Wein im Café l‘Union, Tretbootfahren auf dem Lac St Cassien, Wandern in der Gorge du Verdon, St Cezaire (Wanderung zur Pont du Tuves, Ausflug in die Grotte/Tropfsteinhöhle, Markt am Samstag), Dorf Cabris mit toller Aussicht über die ganze Region, Bergdorf Èze (mit einem Ausflug nach Monaco gut zu verbinden), … und es gibt so viele wundervolle kleine Dörfchen überall!
