Completely misrepresented property, not a true rental!
The photos shown of home in the listing we're not the same as when we enter the home.
Most noticeably was that there was not a single closet in the entire three bedroom home including the new closet in the living room, were filled with all personal belongings of the resident owners. The refrigerator we were told to use was in the laundry room which still had personal food of the resident owners in the freezer and in the refrigerator. Toy boxes in the living room, one piece of outdoor furniture shown in the original listing was now sitting in the living room, the beds look like they were just left from the owners as the owner did state when we questioned him about this that it is their personal home they just left. They just moved out but left everything exactly as it was when they lived in it. If I wanted to have a rental with relatives I would go to relatives that I knew not strangers, with beds that looked slept in! When we call the owner of the rental he sent his wife or someone over to the house, they explained they would give us a full refund but then they gave us a very difficult time to do the refund on VRBO. Thankfully I stayed on the phone with a representative in America while they had to call their local French VRBO person to cancel and give us a refund. Prior to doing that my partner who is French overheard them statejust pretend we made the refund and they will leave. They were very dishonest should not have rental properties on VRBO or any other site.
