Jamacia Inn is a fantastic place to stay ,The staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were really good.Highly recommend and will definitely return.

We loved the hotel but the food was not good. Curry was inedible. Restaurant staff were abrupt and not very friendly but I appreciate it was busy. Reception staff were lovely

Great location

Obviously the location and history of the property is amazing. I arrived quite late and it was tricky getting seen at reception as there seemed to be only one member of staff covering the hotel and the public bar. The room itself was lovely, very clean and with nice touches. The bathroom was great and nice to have a soak in the bath after a long day.

Good history, comfortable but food poor

Hotel has an amazing history. Rooms of good size, quiet and comfortable. Checkin friendly and quick. Slept well and room was ok. Only thing that let it down was the food which was not good value and service was poor. I'd like to think this was just an isolated occasion when it was very busy.
