Kitchen modern: Bathroom modern but there is a musty smell. The rest of the house did not feel quaint: it was just old and old-fashioned, especially the dining room.We had been warned that the stairs are steep. However, we had not been warned that although the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs. For a lady of a certain age (me) who needs to go several times during the night, going crabwise half asleep was rather confronting.
