Motel 6 - accommodation in Lathrop

The place is really thoughtful. There’s space for everyone. Different types of seating, pool tables, couches, outdoor area etc. It’s nice to get a hotel and not to just have to stay in your room or have to pay for everything. However it is nice to be able to stay in your room and not have to go downstairs for everything. I personally like to enjoy a cup of coffee before having to deal with anyone but that wasn’t possible. Also the pillows, though I love how they’re actually standard size pillows and not those micro ones I’ve been seeing everywhere, they were very uncomfortable. I would stay again, bring my own pillow and keurig.

We had a great stay and felt it was the best value for the money. The location was convenient, with several food trucks just down the block, and it was only a short drive to Great Wolf Lodge, Costco, and the softball fields. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was. We had no issues with noise, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The only areas that could use some improvement are the exterior landscaping, which could use a little more attention, and the complimentary breakfast. While it was appreciated, it didn’t include eggs or breakfast meats, making it less accommodating for guests with diabetes or those looking for higher-protein options. Overall, this is definitely one of the best places to stay for the price, and we would happily stay here again. Family friendly.

Clean rooms. Nice shower. Terrible pillows. Like sleeping on balled up socks. No coffee in our room was very sad. Other than that, it was pleasant. The Mexican restaurant next door is excellent with great food and service.
