The hotel is located right beside one of the biggest buildings in Riga so it's easy to get your bearings if you're walking. It's VERY close to Old town and all the markets. And there is a nice restaurant right in the hotel.

Hotel in a perfect location,not far from old town and many attractions.Nice and clean,great room. However-had to keep asking for a cup in my room for a coffee,as it doesn’t get replaced and if you want more than one drink-you’ve had it as 1 sachet of coffee per day!! Also not a big enough dining area-if you ask where to go when it’s full-staff in restaurant just shrug their shoulders-I heard that the banquet room upstairs can be used-but it was locked. Would be 5 stars but for the things I’ve mentioned.

Billed as a spa hotel I would have expected to be able to use the facilities free of charge as I was a paying guest but there was an additional charge. Apparently there was only a sauna and a steam room of which I used neither. The room was OK but the quilt didn't cover the whole bed so we had to get the spare out of the wardrobe and it didn't have a cover on it. When I asked at reception for a cover they did immediately send one to the room for me to put on myself. The breakfast was adequate and top marks to the hotel for opening the restaurant early on the Sunday for those taking part in the marathon weekend.

Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Good location and good breakfast. Housekeeping was not as expected. Rooms were cold. When asked they provided extra blanket could not heat up the room.

Great location, walkable to old town and the market. Breakfast was great. My only concern is that the bedroom re add on dusty, the window closing so dusty. My ring fell on the floor so I have to look for it, when I moved the side table, discovered that the room needs vacuuming thick dust under the bed and side table. If bed is being move and vacuum it even on a weekly basis, it won’t accumulate such dust. Thank you

Very friendly staff

Stayed here before, and enjoyed my stay so came back again. Reception staff are so lovely and willing to help, as well as restaurant staff. Room had strange issue where reading light could not be switched on if main light was off. Also power sockets turned off when main light was switched off. This was a small issue, and did not happen last time. Overall a great stay

Lovely cheap & warm hotel

I honestly don’t know why people stop at This hotel & complain. It’s very cheap very warm & Cosy, not far from the town. If you want 5 star hotel then you need to pay 5 star prices. The breakfast was ok as well

Nice hotel.

Pleasant hotel, tidy and clean bedroom and bathroom. Continental style breakfast with a cooked egg/sausage/bacon option was adequate. Ten minutes walk from the centre. An English channel on the TV would have been nice, similarly milk to go with the coffee and kettle.

Breakfast

The morning's breakfast is a disaster due to the lack of seating , people had to stand a wait during so made getting your breakfast more difficult due to lack of room to move . The room is far to small to hold for breakfast . The cups in the room still had tea stain in them .
